Need Pitt tickets, what's the best bet?

Never had trouble buying them on parking lot side of the stadium for less than face. I have not tried now that they are undefeated.

Go to the game, you won't have trouble getting cheap tickets. If you do, watch the game with some peeps in the parking lot. Life is about experiences like that.

Sandy is going to keep a bunch of people in the Northeast from getting there otherwise I'd think any ticket for an 8-0 team would be scarce.

Contact the ticket office.

Contact the local ND Clubs in the Northeast.

Get to campus early and start shopping.

Pitt will return some. ND ticket office will put them on sale Thursday morning. There probably won't be many so you'll have to call in. Follow @NDTIX on twitter and they will announce when and how to get them.

Call the ticket office (574-631-7356). They are very nice and can answer any questions you may have. This is the way I have always purchased my tickets.

It's not a marquee game, so you should be able to find tix in the parking lot. I was at the BYU game and there were a lot of folks selling tix way under face value. If you're driving, put a sign in your car window. You may be able to get them before you get to campus. I've done that before.

If there are tickets available from the ticket office I will puke. I would stop in there frequently as a student and OCCASSIONALLY be able to buy a few tickets. I would turn around and scalp for a small profit. That was 94-98. As an undefeated team in the championship mix, the thought of below face tickets is crazy to me. USC one year bought me a lot of beer.

Then again, face value is 2x or more what it was fifteen years ago so not as much profit to be had there.

Always scalpers on the corners around campus if you dare. My cousin bought fake Nebraska tickets that year they came to ND, I didn't have a problem with it since he is a Cornhusker fan.

There will be people around the stadium selling tickets several hours before kickoff. And they're not supposed to sell them over face on campus.

If you're willing to risk it, try getting tickets within an hour of kickoff because the price will drop off.

Looks like they'll go on sale tomorrow morning. Call as close to 8:30 as possible as I imagine they'll go fast.

Sorry to bump this, but tickets will drop way below face as it gets closer to kickoff. It is easy to get a ticket for 20 dollars or less at around 3:00 (my experience the past 4 years).
