Marcos de Niza DB Priest Willis said he also hopes to take an unofficial out to Washington. Notre Dame, LSU, Washington appear to be faves.

This Obert guy is a reporter for an Arizona paper. Not sure how close he is to Willis but his coverage of Davonte Neal's recruitment was pretty good. Hope he's right that we are a "fave."

Would we take both Moore and Willis? I hope and think so; I just ask because both seem to be CB/S types; ideally we'd get one CB/S type (like Moore or Willis) and one pure CB type (like Alexander or Cole Luke). We'll see how it goes. I'd love to be in that position of having a bunch of elite DBs interested.

I think we take the best two of the four it comes down to it. I think the staff can work with that. I think you take Willis regardless of who you get out of the others.

Yeah, I think that's right. Even if we have two guys committed, I think we find a way to take him. Too talented and versatile to pass up.

Someone on this board said PW's ND love would heat up soon. This was a few months ago... fingers crossed....

His parents want him to stay home. If it were up to Priest many believe it would be LSU. Parents want him looking at ASU and UCLA a little bit harder.

I would have to say ASU....although UCLA wouldn't be a bad choice either.

Too bad... I've seen this kid play many times. I live pretty close to the school. The WR on there used to play on my Pop Warner team a few years ago. He's a beast too.

Per BG He apparently rescheduled again because he wants to bring his family with him and their were arrangement issues. Looking to reschedule.

He back....?

Maybe he's a long shot, get him and his parents there and let them see for themselves. At least he apparently has enough interest to keep trying to get to campus. That's all we can ask for.

Could be a good sign that the reason he rescheduled was so his parents could be there. GB said earlier his parents want him to stay close to home, if we can win over the parents then maybe our chances will significantly increase.

I think its a long shot but if there is any place out there where parents feel comfortable with their kids leaving home and going its certainly ND.

Not going to happen if he doesn't visit. You would have to get his parents up to South Bend too, but I can't see that happening.

Like Sherm loves to say. He gone.

Not saying he's definitely going to visit with his parents, but that is the reason he rescheduled.

Liked his visit to Nebraska. Was going to visit LSU, but now will not make it. Only visit scheduled currently is to UVa.

After canceling that LSU visit as well as two visits to ND, this guy is almost as bad as Treadwell: he talks about going on a lot of visits without actually taking very many.

I know our chances for him aren't good, but to me he would be the ideal get to finish off this class. He is the type of strong tackler that is perfect for CB in our system.

I find it interesting that ESPN lists him as a S. (Football Recruiting - Priest Willis - Player Profiles - ESPN)

Just saw that Scout does as well.

Are we recruiting him as a CB or S?

Scott Schrader, 247 USC reporter, posted something yesterday saying he thinks USC is in good shape here.

If that drives Redfield into our arms, that would be A-ok with me.
