Easy fellas-- we should just consider ourselves lucky that allgaytor thinks ND could play Florida close...if ND gets some breaks.

He graced us with his presence.

why do you say that because he is currently committed to ND? You honestly think its 80/20?

If I didn't honestly think 80/20, why would I have said 80/20? I also said it's between 50/50 and 80/20. It's going to take a bad experience this weekend for him to end up a Gator.

I know EE's don't sign LOIs. But when is the soonest he can enroll in Spring semester? We need to lock this kid up asap.

Example of why I like the early signing period for CBB.

From the Gators side they think he is leaning more towards flipping at this point but of course the trip this weekend could go a long way to keeping AA in gold and blue.

Yes, because that was coming off his visit and that's from the Gators' side. Things settled down quite a bit afterwards and if he has a great time with all of the other guys this weekend (the expected event) I see it being 80/20 Irish. Remember he hasn't been to an ND home game yet.... and while this won't be as awesome of an experience as ND vs. Michigan or ND vs. Stanford w/ Gameday, I think it should be a good time.

If ND loses 28-0 and it overall totally sucks and throw is some cold + rain for good measure... then I'd like our chances a lot less. But I see him having a good weekend with Jaylon and the other guys, and that should put us firmly in the lead unless he visits UF again or ND tanks the rest of the season while Florida wins a championship.

Dont think winning or losing is going to matter that much. Both teams are going to have strong years. I am not sure if anything has actually "settled down". I do expect him to visit Florida again but maybe Kelly and and the Irishmob can convince him not to.

i get what you're saying about the whole experience on gameday but don't worry he is about an hour or so from me...we have pretty much the same weather as ND

His visit this weekend won't be able to match the atmosphere at Florida for the LSU game. The students are on break, it's a week after a big game and it's not a big time opponent like LSU.

True, but most students will be back, I'd think. I don't think we had a home game at the tail end of fall break during my four years but if we had I wouldn't have missed it.

Hopefully this kid is smart enough not to make a 4 year decision based off of one game and the atmosphere at that current game. I would think there would be alot more to consider than just that!

We had USC home last year at the end of fall break and almost everyone was back, but this is BYU, so well see. I think it'll be pretty full. Plus they way overcrowd he student section so even if like 80% of the students are there it will still look completely full haha.

I think we are all conceading that the game day atmosphere at Florida vs LSU will be bigger and more exciting than ND vs Byu but I fully expect him to have a great time with the mob and I believe he realizes our fans are just as crazy and loyal about the Irish as Gator fans, I believe this comes down to more than just comparing the two gameday atmospheres.

I guess I never really understand it when a recruit says they want to see the gameday atmosphere and compare it to other places. From a player's perspective that should always be the same. Gameday is:
Wake up.
Eat.
Meetings.
Rest.
Mass.
Walk to NDS.
Suit up.
Knock someone's head off.
Sing the song.
Go the locker room, take your shirt off, sing another song.

The same atmosphere and routine for the BYU game and Michigan game and the Wake Forest game. Its not like as an enrolled freshman you get the opportunity to survey the various tailgate parties during pre-game.

Look at the Miami home games and Notre Dame home games. There is definitly differences in atmosphere.

Would you rather be cheered by 5,000 fans or 50,000+ fans?

I would much rather put up with the cold than do two-a-days in the 90+ degree, 100% humidity that some of the southern schools have to deal with.

Depending on the summer two-a-days can still be in the 90's with over 80% humidity.
