Mount Carmel has pumped out some big time talent over the past 20 years.

I really like how ND is one of the first major football schools to offer these kids. The staff is really on top of their game. I'd like to see some tape of Mr. Enoch. I hope he isn't as crazy as this Enoch. (also hope this kid goes by Nucky).

"I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity," Smith said again of his offer. "Notre Dame has one of the best educations in the country. It's an honor to have a scholarship offer from such a prestigious University. It's just been a great day. A really great day. Words can't express how I'm feeling right now."

I understand that but i would still think that he would have offers from other defensive minded schools.

By the end of this season and especially after he hits the camping circuit before his senior year (if he does), he will.

Its fine by me if others don't get on board that means we have a better shot at getting him and i am good with that.

I am assuming that we are recruiting him as a NT is that a fair assumption. He seems like he could add some serious mass to that frame.

I'm kinda hoping he flies under the radar and doesn't get a lot of offers early then just blows the ****ing lid off the camp scene. Understated how important it is to wrap up these Chicago area guys.

Agree with the comments on his frame. Bet he could easily get to 300 and looks to have that low center of gravity that is good for NT.

We would definitely need a year with Longo... He's big and strong yes, but lacks explosiveness off the line.
