I believe it can be count against either. It is up to tge school. That is my understanding.

I am not sure why everyone is forgetting about Cam McDaniels. The kid will be playing a lot of football for us, he's a football machine.

It seems there is no longer a cap for EE's. The staff at ISD believes this to be the case. I think we have 6 already.

I thought EE's usually come early because there is a good possibility of them getting a lot of playing time. So for example with Zaire behind at least 2 guys at QB, isn't it likely he won't play 2013.

I think Kelly originally used the EE to get guys in early that he thought could contribute early. I think now you get not only those guys in but you get the other guys who won't play right away to get a head start on the development process.

And classes. If you plan on trying to play early, getting FYC and other intensive classes out of the way in the spring is a godsend.

It seems to me, and I like it, that ND is starting to give a lil to their "strict" ways to benefit the football program without jeopardizing the tradition.
