I am certainly for that. I don't know that it warants being discussed further, anyways.
So how's Jaylon's season going?
4,564 rushing yards, 37 rushing touchdowns, 3,897 receiving yards, 23 receiving touchdowns, 241 tackles, 64 sacks, 21 interceptions.
That's alright I guess
Jaylon has his Army All-American assembly tomorrow, and BK will be there to watch his game in person that evening. Big day for Jaylon.
He will be our best signee since Manti. Our biggest recruit we needed this year and we got him. Got a little bit of a man crush. Can't wait to watch this kid for next four years. Future captain and all American.

is it crazy for me to think that he could maybe step into manti's spot next year?? i know he's a natural at one of the outside spots, but seeing how lethal having an eliteathlete in the middle is this year really makes me wonder how good this guy could be in the middle with his ability in space playing sideline to sideline. plus he would be a lot more involved in the middle on every play than at the DOG spot. just me thinking out loud a little
thoughts??
Yes, sorry man but that is crazy. Jaylon is too slight right now to probably even play DOG the way the staff would want, let alone MIKE or WILL. They only flaw I see in his game right now (besides lack of experience) is his lack of strength, and time with Longo will help him greatly. He is an unbelievable talent, but he would be manhandled inside next year if put there.
Jaylon will absolutely be on the field next year, but to me there is no way at all will he be starting inside (nor should he). His most impressive talents are his pass rushing and coverage abilities. I wouldn't mitigate those by sticking him inside taking on O-lineman and TEs.
thing is though with our scheme we got so many big guys up front that he could be protected from the front line...idk personally maybe i'm biased but i think it could happen
i'm a small school dude so i'm worried about him not being involved enough on the edge...maybe i'm overthinking

I think he could beat out Golson and Gunner next year.
He could play just about anywhere, but he is a 3-4 drop backer masterpiece. Michael Jordan could have played forward![]()
Exactly imagine if you will. The nickel package in a few years.
Day and Jones at DT, Tuitt and Okwara at DEs.
Russell and Moore (crosses fingers) at CBs.
Shumate at the Star.
Alex and Jaylon at LBs.
Prosise and Baratti at Ss.
We could have unmatched athleticism and the ability to still stop the run against pass heavy teams.

I don't think Tuitt will be around in a few years. I'm not banking on it at least.

IMHO I believe he stays and gets his degree.
