It's nothing short of very very sad that there individuals who not only believe in, but take rather seriously, the idea that there is a contest among online college football communities, let alone free ones. In fact, it makes me quite uncomfortable that there are such individuals that "permeate" any one group. For all those reading: we withdraw from whatever competition that has been concocted and forfeit whatever prize (which undoubtedly includes copious shares in the manufacturers of the "." key on the keyboard) there may be.

It's funny, and I know this isn't what the post was intending at all, but this is the sort of thing that sets this particular forum apart from others. I always appreciate the intelligent, congenial, mature, and welcoming debate/discourse found here. It's what makes IE special. So, although I agree wholeheartedly with this post, and admire its maturity and leadership, I think it also stands for what this site is as a community.

Yeah.... I know. Sometimes I feel like I'm talking to a wall when it comes to our boy, but he's going to do what he's going to do. I deleted my post because I didn't want to come off as "daddy" talking down to him but that place is a huge mistake. I like Dome and I hope that he makes a good decision regarding this matter. Nothing good comes out of there...Literally.
