Disproved? Right..... going back to the beginning I said that Purdue/MSU had more NFL talent on defense than Michigan and that position by position each of those teams was stronger except at safety. Your "disproving" included listing guys projected 5th round at best or undrafted.
First of all...
listing people who aren't projected to be drafted does not count. Second, by simple virtue of Short being a project 1st round player (#21 overall on Kiper's big board) Purdue by default has more NFL talent than Michigan who has at best 3 guys on the last draft tier. Especially when you factor in that Ricardo Allen... a 1st team all Big Ten CB as a sophomore... somehow isn't even listed? For real? Most places have him somewhere in the 10-20 range as a junior. For example, first hit on Google and I won't waste more time:
Ricardo Allen*|*Purdue,*CB*:*2014 NFL Draft Scout Player Profile
Good thing you didn't, I'd hate for you to see the list for 2014 and '15
Ricardo Allen CB 10 Purdue Jr 5-09 186
Bruce Gaston DT 13 Purdue Jr 6-2 305
Ryan Isaac DT 51 Purdue Jr 6-4 295
Will Lucas OLB 55 Purdue Jr 5-11 230
Jibreel Black DT 48 Michigan Jr 6-2 280
Thomas Gordon FS 25 Michigan rJr 5-11 208
Blake Countess CB 22 Michigan So 5-10 180
Brennen Beyer DE 19 Michigan So 6-3 252
Jake Ryan OLB 12 Michigan rSo 6-2 242
By my count that's 4 for Purdue and 5 for Michigan, not to mention the 2 person difference in the 2013 list. You asked about NFL talent, I provided a list of years 2013-2015 of NFL talent for Purdue and Michigan. Your wrong, get over it.
Position by position... are you seriously going to say you have a better DL than MSU? Better CBs than Purdue? Better LBs than MSU? That's what I stated and you have done absolutely nothing to "disprove" that. Simply look at this list:
Big Ten Player Rankings: The Top 50 Players for 2012 | AthlonSports.com
I never said Michigan had more talent on D than MSU, not once, find it. You're putting that in there to make your argument look better. MSU has a better D than Michigan. Very easy for me to say that.
Again, you stated NFL talent on D (your first post made it seem that it was both O and D, but you clarified in a second post) and I posted the 2013 mock draft, now I'm giving you '14 and '15.
Your link does not work, it takes me to the homepage to athlonsports, and it wasn't
anywhere on the page. I also did a quick search and came up with nothing like what your link looks like it's trying to show. Not saying it doesn't exist, I just don't see it, but I would like to read it.
Purdue gets 2 defensive players in the top 15 overall players in the entire Big Ten.... Michigan doesn't get a single defensive player on the list until Kovacs at #50. MSU has SEVEN defensive players all ranked ahead of Kovacs. What you're arguing for is pure insanity. And I'm officially bored with this.
PS. Someone on this forum had a list of the top 25 or so players by position projected nationally for 2012... I can't seem to find it, but if you still have it please post it here. It says more of the same. Arguing that Michigan has more "talent" on defense then either MSU or Purdue is simply nonsensical.
Again, I never said MSU. Find where I did, please. I stated Michigan had more NFL talent than Purdue, which is what you asked for, and provided proof. I'm sorry you don't like it.
