Anybody watch "The League" on FX? He's "blue collar" because he's white. If he were latino, he'd be a "firecraker, sparkplug." And if he were black, he'd be a "class act."

Great show!

And if he were a basketball player, probably be called a "gym rat." Haha

In the video clips he is #42, however don't see him on the field- did he change #s?

Noticed the same thing. Are there two American Heritage high schools in Florida? The one on ESPN right now looks the Broncos or something but Deeb's team is the Patriots.

Answer i was looking for. Thank you sir. Too bad it's not Deeb's team. Wanted to see him and Sony play.

Yep. Deeb plays for American Heritage in Plantation, FL and the one vs Cocoa is in Delray Beach.

This was a recent tweet by Michael.

Thankful for the win and good health. My team is good, the fans were GREAT, and the glory goes to God!!! #appreciatethesupport

This kid is a shining example of what Notre Dame stands for and why we don't need Pinkett's 'criminals'. Deeb, Robinson, Bivin, Rochell, Anzalone, etc, the Irish Mob if you will, tweets amazing things like this all the time. We have something special brewing here boys. God is great and go Irish.

solid run stuffer... may not be as versatile as the other LBs in this class, but he fits his ILB role very well.

I don't recall in any of the highlights that have been posted, an instance where he wasn't wrapping-up when making a tackle. That may just be something edited out for the highlights (or maybe I missed one or two), but if not it is an indication that he is very well coached. Even upperclassmen in CFB have the occasional whiff when trying to bring a guy down using only their head/shoulder.

I think it is kind of funny. Everybody is drunk at the linebacker candy being bantered around. This guy is a wrecking crew. And he is unflappable. He will quietly go to work without the fanfare. Many will argue about his offer. Then he will play solid championship football.

It's amazing the difference we're seeing in quality/quantity on the defensive side of the ball. I remember in 2008 we got 3 4* LBs in Filer, Fleming and McDonald. I honestly thought we could never top that, but Deeb, Anzalone, Randolph and Smith would do that, easily. Add in a sprinkle of Grace, Williams, Councell and Rabasa and we have a very solid LB corp for the next couple years. Very solid.

Love the direction our program is heading!

What even makes you point more emphatic is all the great ones you missed! I realize you can only type so much in a post but do you realize how many linebackers we are going to have that can play championship footbal, and since they all will play, how fresh their legs will be.

If I were a college kid I would want to play in a Kelly system and share time especially if I thought I could play on Sunday.

I agree 100%... HS Video is similar in some respects especially the physicality of it, but Deed looks so much more explosive and has better lateral movement.

He just seems to play faster... He's a 100mph wrecking ball.

Not to mention the guy is super high energy and has great character. He will be great in the locker room and the weight room motivating the team.

I think some people are lower on Deeb simply because of the 3 stars he has and he isnt as versatile as the others. The other 4 LBs can could play most of the LB positions, but Deeb is pretty set at one position (that doesnt make him bad though) I think he will be a very solid ILB.
