Just looked at the ESPN 150. Jaylon has moved up to #14 from #20. There are only 7 5* on ESPN, but I think he will likely get his
5th from ESPN before too much longer. Which will kill them to do since ESPN hates ND.

USC's Rivals site started a BS rumor about Jaylon Smith switching his commitment to USC after visiting LA the past few days with his dad or something like that. Anyway the II guys totally bit on it until Jaylon posted this via twitter.

I have not switched to Usc , and won't decommit regardless of anything i feel Nd running through my blood,! Lets go Manti eat this year

Family has money. Believe they have a place up near Bay Harbor on Lake Michigan. Lots of money up there. Madonna and Magic Johnson have places up there on Lake Michigan.

By the way, neighbors had a family place on the lake near Grand Haven. Not sure I have ever seen a more beautiful lake shore.

Spoke to my buddy today who knows Jaylon and his family....said he's every big of 6'3" and the 218 he's been listed at. Also spoke very highly of him as a person in his mannerisms and actions. He said ND is getting a great kid.

SOOO True! And I am giddy thinking about what he still can do for this family and seeing that young talent like Jaylon know this and "will be watching every step" to try to carry that banner forward.

Isn't it interesting how someone like that can come along and restore dignity and honor to a program that has been in the woods for a few years? Heard some of the old guard talking about the only way we win the NC ever again is with an Urbie type and a chain gang. Don't know about you all, but I trust in Kelly and Manti . . .

My dad drives truck here locally in South Bend and has a customer in Fort Wayne. His Fort Wayne customer told him he is a great level headed kid off the field and on the field lights go out when he puts on his helmet.
