Geez, how many of his passes hit the receiver in the hands only to have the receiver drop it. Need some better receivers!

Take away his offer......grayshirt him....receivers can't catch his passes when it hits them in the hands

Doesnt looked like he moved much in the ESPN rankings

The Espn folks have to stick with their guys whom they wanted to win and Trent and his boy basicly told them that these guys are the best. Tommy Morris overrated Browne over rated just too slow Olson was ok but in my opinion not better than Zaire. The kid who won would not do it day in and day out. also Malik may have had the highest Qb iq than any other in the past. Playing Qb is much more than throwin hard like the morris kid or being able to run over little kids like Swoopes who in my opinon should not be in the rating. He is an awful Qb and shouldnt been invited to the party. Hackenburg although he did decent at the camp he still isnt a great Qb again he is an gib aloof kid

I thought Malik looked like a quarterback who knew what he was doing. In control, ahead of the defense.

He's going to win big.

definitely victimized by NUMEROUS drops, i counted 2 bad decision throws. The 1 INT he did get went through the hands of a WR. Who are these WRs anyway? some of the passes that were dropped, my jaw dropped at the possibility of dropping the ball at all.

Does anyone else have a hard time watching him throw because he is left handed?

His feet are very quick and he does a good job looking off defenders. That's about the only thing I could take away from that video.

I have been all over the blogs in recent days and have seen some good stuff on the Zaire kid and some ridiculus crap say about the kid by the so called experts. My conclusion is that folks like tom lemmings is given too much power to rate these kids. Most of his stuff is opinion and not facts. for instance he rates Tyrone Swoopes the number one dual threat Qb well this kid flat out sucks. Zaire blew him away at the elite 11. where Zaire made it(number 4) swoopes was next to last. yet he invited to play in the us army all american game. What a bunch of silliness. Zaire is waiting to hear if he gets the chance where Tyrone is in what a shame. Zaire is good and is going to be even better at the next level with some qb coaching and folks like tom leming ought to switch careers and go dig holes for the farmers...

Lemming is a dinosaur. Take solace in his ever diminishing relevance.

Recruiting is a shady business, and that goes double for all the unregulated industries it supports. I wouldn't be surprised in the least to learn that someone associated with Swoopes (or any other recruit) greased the right palms to get him in an all-star game.

Point being, take it all with a grain of salt. So much of this process is arbitrary and under the table... there's little point in getting worked up over it.

You do know Tom Lemming isn't associated with the US Army All American game.

Nicely said WJ. I do like the fact that there are more of these "games" so that we can get a look at more and more incoming talent. Selection however will remain dicey.... Regardless, it all pans out on the field a few years later anyway. Big grain of salt.

I looked up that www .InsideNotreDameFootball.com. Pretty cool. Guess they tell the recruits to go on there.

Check it out.

I live in the Dayton area. If he lives in Trotwood he has at least a 30 minute drive to school everyday. That's rough.

They are airing this two separate days right? Will Malik only be featured tonight?
