Taking into account all +'s, and even the -'s that we've heard over the past few days.....I think we all can agree he definitely has a pretty high ceiling. Our QB depth (at least as it appears now) is nothing but sick.

You hit the nail squarely on the head, our qb's have the talent, and drive to push each other to excellence. Even if the injury bug rears its ugly head we have quality depth that can be developed into BCS caliber performers and lead this team to victory.

Interesting, how ND went from bare cupboards to sick in fourteen months. Hmm. Wonder if it had anything to do with the coach?

Atta boy Malik, made the final Elite 11.

Tom Brady Jr didn't make the cut. Don't gloat too much though, Gunner didn't last year.

This might be a stupid question, but did Gunner make the final 11?

nope, which makes maliks performance even more impressive (although i do not know the specific criteria the coaches are looking at).

our dual threat guy makes the elite 11 in one of the most stacked QB classes in recent memory? im quite satisfied

Not to mention his high school offense is run first.

Yup. They made the comparison earlier in the weekend about this. Malik threw fro just over 1000 yards last year. In comparison, I believe it was Max Browne or Shane Morris that threw for over 4000 yards. Malik is showing he has the throwing ability in these camps and he has obviously made a statement about his football IQ to these coaches. We've got a good one boys.

TBJ = Shane Morris? (If yes, please don't do say that. Brady is the best QB of all time. Shane Morris is an annoying punk of a high school kid.)

Any way someone could post the list of 11 that made the cut? I did a quick search and it seems like that info is protected? Is that possible? If it is, its the weirdest thing I've ever heard.

USF commit Woulward was MVP. Hackysack and Baked Goods rounded out the top 3. The rest were not ordered.

I don't normally care about rankings, but he's gonna be movin' on up!

Can't say enough how excited I am more Malik. This kid is a work horse. He has all the intangibles to be a great leader.

Yes Morris. Brady didn't do squat at UM and he is an annoying punk as well. They are also both pretty boys.

I told you all! And this is what I meant. Malik showed the world, and schooled Morris. That is about all anyone can say:

Chun an bua, Malik Zaire! D'fhéadfadh a bheith gach ádh leatsa!

Really glad to have him on the team. If we can be getting recruits like Kiel and Zaire every year, QB will go from what keeps us out of a BCS Bowl to being what takes us to a national championship.

^ Victimized by a ton of drops, but definitely displays the tools to be a great QB at the next level. Really like his footwork and the way he sets himself for throws. Would have liked to see the arm on some more downfield throws, but you have to take what the D gives you (or what your receivers don't).
