To add to that, Deeb told Sapp in the interview yesterday that he hated being away from him team and working out with them but he had to make the trip to visit ND to see if it was for him. Kind of guys we need right there.

I was thinking that too when I saw it....I looked at his previous posts and I assumed it was more geared towards his workouts....I'm guessing that he made a call to the staff then and said he is committing.

It is easy to stand your ground in no pads when you know he can't hit you like he wants to hit you.

Exactly. Getting "owned" in a padless one on one camp drill means little. He may need to work on his pass rushing technique, but this drill is not setup for an ILB's strong suit (stopping the run up the middle, for example), so naturally it's not going to be the best part of an ILB's game.

On a positive note, I love his demeanor. He's got that nasty "I'm going to break you in half" look about him that every good defense needs as an anchor.

This is really what it was. Appears to be a no emotion face deal. His top two schools both got a committment from LB's today so he may just not know what to think about it. Both schools have room for him though.
