Prister and Sampson think he may come off the board in the next couple of weeks.

Per 247: Top 3 or ND Syracuse and UF. Visiting or visited UF this weekend. Will decide by the end of June.

Kid has Decommit written all over him.

No Alabama? I thought he liked them a lot?

You say he has "decommit" all over him, tell that to Connecticut. :)

On the plus side, it seems ND and Cuse are the constants. The third team is the flavor of the week. As long as we are in it til the end.

U mean already decommitting once and changing top groups and decision dates weekly isn't good?

Per Sapp he (sapp) talked to a writer on the UF site and it appears that ND is still in the lead. Ebenezer has said he wants to take another trip to Cuse before but we'll see.

He posted on Facebook Thursday that he was "really liking Syracuse."

I'm hoping he had a Mike McGlinchey esque epiphany where he just knew he wasn't going to get any better than Notre Dame.

That would be nice. He would be a very good addition to the class. I keep wondering when we do lose a kid to Syracuse. We have a few prospects toying with the idea the last 3 years so you never know. Hopefully the trend stays the coarse.

Why would we ever lose a football player to Syracuse? What do they have that we don't except more losses and more snow?
Hopefully Ishaq can tell this kid what's what. But, yeah, if he's got serious SEC interest this one might go down to the wire.

Location, and false promises to be the man on campus and revive the program.

Not to mention his desire go play with Augustus Edwards in college....

So, ESPN loves this cat, placing him at #105 in the country. While two other services rate him a 3 star. I wonder if that is just because the other services haven't re-ranked in a while. ESPN just did so last week.

Once he commits to ND, except a precipitous decline in the ESPN ranks.

- He is a :s::s::s::s: on Rivals

- He has 89 rating on 247, a :s::s::s::s: is 90 overall

- Also he participated in a SPARQ Combine & committed to play at the Under Armor All American Game so call it bias or they just took a better look at him but that could explain his rise from N/A to 105th overall on ESPN

I don't think this really happens anymore.

Even from a cynical perspective, rating agencies (with the exception of ESPN) have no incentive to tick off ND fans. If anything, they'd want to please them since there are a ton of us. Plus, everyone knows who is on the prospect's offer list. Dropping a kid while Saban and Meyer continue to pursue the kid would not make much sense-- especially if they ended up flipping.

As for ESPN, even if they intended to screw ND, they don't seem to do it. Our recruits get fair ratings and our classes end up in the same range as Rivals and 247.

If there is any bias, I'd say we get love from Scout and our less known prospects get an extra look since Kelly has a good rep for finding talent.

I think this kid is very talented, and I'm obviously not an expert in evaluating tape or anything. But this kid seems like he wouldn't be a solid verbal and wouldn't really do what the rest of IrishMob13 is doing. I'd take him in a heartbeat, but I wouldn't be thrilled with a verbal. I'd rather have a LB class of Anzalone, Cox, Smith, and Randolph. Maybe even Mattingly before this guy.
