Offers from ND, BC, IA, RU, TEM are not much of a cohort even for an early verbal and one missing part of his season.

Sounds like 247's #93 Athlete is ND's hidden gem. If this is the lowest evaluated player ND gets, it's going to be a fine class.

I wonder if coaches look at these sites. Being ranked the 93rd best player in the country, the secret will be out soon.

If he attends camps during the summer I expect his stock to rise on Rivals and Scout. ESPN actually has him as a 4 star

They're cognizant of the rankings. They do not use them as a guide for potential recruits.

IF he attends camps.

For the most part, ND verbals haven't been big campers/combine participants going back through Holtz, Davie, et al. I don't know if that's discouraged or maybe more emphasis on academics, or ego, or what.

On the other hand you have situation like Elmer's where he went to a camp and apparently bombed. From his own father's description he wasn't prepared and didn't do well and dropped in the ratings.

While I personally like to see ND kids shine at the camps I want more to keep them away from Urban and the seducers.

This will kid will be a :s::s::s::s: across the board at the CB position come NSD. Not as optimistic as Lemming and say a :s::s::s::s::s: CB, though I wont complain if it happens. :)

Love seeing that!

All you could ask for in May I guess. Really like the two DBs we have on board so far.

Awesome...I think this kid is solid just from recent updates but this is great how he will be with a lot of commits and prospects to further mesh with each other.

Say why the change?

Semper Fi is awful far away from NJ

LJ Moore, Hatari Byrd, and Priest Willis are playing in that correct?

Hopefully come signing day we will have 2 DBs from Semper Fi

To be fair he never committed to play in the Army game, he was just invited. Also I am assuming he did because 247 has partnered with the Semper FI game while Rivals has long been involve in the Army game. Which site thinks more highly of Rashad?

Has received offers from Nebraska (QB) and PSU. Not considering either.

On Tuesday he posted a 38 inch vertical. Yes you read that right. Up to 184lbs to.

Steal of the class. 6'1" with a electronic 4.41 40 and 38 inch vert.

Besides Jaylon Smith, my favorite prospect by far

PSU was originally one of his top choices, top 2 was ND/PSU

Need a kid like this to tell new suitors "thanks, but no thanks." Sets a good example. I agree: could be the steal of the class.

I recall both of those gentlemen going on visits to other schools. They may have couched it, but they did go.

I know what you're saying, but it's still 8? months until signing day. Who's to say Rashad won't visit other schools in the meantime? I'll never again believe anything a recruit says.

Yeah, I hear you. I guess I'm just on the lookout for a kid to not be a primadonna and make a decision and stick with it. There actually were kids like that in the last class (Jones comes to mind, Mahone too, and I'm sure others), but they were unfortunately overshadowed by the Cali kids and the flaky lineman from Ohio.

Really good point!
