Any insight on what linebacker position he is projected at Dog, Cat, etc? Im assuming he may be a bit more of a Dog type, but I also think Jaylon may (if he comes to ND) be more natural there (per the reports that he has been covering WR's very well- just as well as some CB's)

Yeah, as a high school QB/safety Ball seems to be in the Danny Spond mold and a fit at DOG. I agree that Jaylon also seems like a natural fit at DOG, but he may be talented enough to play any LB spot. I definitely wouldn't be worried about taking both guys.

I believe Elston told us Dog LB position. Just amazing to hold an ND offer. Marcus loved everything about the campus, coaches and players no doubt.

I hope Marcus gets to play some OLB next year. I will be interested to see where he ends up with the recruiting services. Only 247.com has him rated as an Athlete.

Boston College offered

Luke Fickell was at his school today. OSU could be close to offering.

Looks like people are taking ND's lead here on noticing and offering the kid. Can't imagine that people would be too upset about potentially landing a kid that is starting to rack up offers like that.

Hmmmmm. Wonder why he is transferring. South is usually stronger in both sports. Would assume it is due to something else.

I was told "it wasn't his choice." The only thing my South friends are saying is that his parents moved.

He'll be back at South next year. Needs to finish out his junior year at Gahanna.

Nebraska, OSU, Michigan would be his most likely next 3 offers, in that order. Still comes back to all Westerville South open gyms and what not.

Iowa, Kentucky, NC State and Miami (OH) all offered this week.

Can you share any info why he would transfer with only a week or two left in the school year if he plans on being back at South next year?

There's no foul play or anything weird. Bottom line is his parents moved out of the district.

As a native Strongsville-ian, I hate Gahanna. Get back to South so I can like you again Marcus!

I thought he would've popped by now. His recruiting seems to be heating up so I doubt he decides anytime soon.
