Collin Cowherd said on the air that he only does live interviews with Guys that went to good schools. He actually cited Stanford and Notre Dame specifically. He said the reason he doesn't do live interviews with players particularly from the SEC is, you never know what will be said, how it will be said, and how much you are going to be able to use. I am not a huge Cowherd fan, but he is a professional broadcaster, and his business depends on his interview judgement.

Still has concerns with the NCAA sanction looming over Miami.

He is 80 percent committed.

"Kearse says his other favorites are Auburn, Clemson, USC and Notre Dame."

Recruited for wide receiver and safety.

Plans on making trips to the schools mentioned during the summer.

He can like ND all he wants and who knows maybe he did tell that reporter months ago he wanted to flip from Aurburn to ND but he still doesn't have an offer and I can certainly see a scenario where he never gets one

Bet you a lot of recruits are going to be concerned when Miami goes 6-6 or worse this year.
IDK Al Golden is a good coach and they do have talent and a lot of incoming talent, watch out for Duke Johnson. I see them going at least 8-4.

Well I hope he gets an offer...Holtz made the mistake of not offering his uncle who wanted to come to ND. Don't want history to repeat itself.

smh-An arrest for robbery at 14 should not define someone.

No, it shouldn't.

Neither should mulitiple high school's.

Nor should multiple decommitment's 8 months before NSD.

Doesn't sound like his academic pursuits should define him either.

We probably shouldn't look at the college's he's decommitted from either as their penchant for NCAA Probation and for taking anyone in good standing with their parole officer might provide bias as well.

Cypress Lake star Kearse transfers to South Fort Myers

While the FHSAA forbids players from transferring schools for athletic reasons, Lee County’s school of choice programs allows students to switch school for academics. Cypress Lake athletic director Doug Jennett is calling into question the impetus behind Kearse’s move since South recently received a “C” grade by the Florida Department of Education and Cypress Lake received an "A".

I think its a common practice for recruits to put Notre Dame on their list of schools, it is a subtle way to gain interest and popularity......its one way to get Urban Meyer's attention, thats for sure.

I dont thinks its that. I doubt they think that in depth about how to get attention(most of that is). I think ists more they realize that ND is special and unique so they wanna give it a try at the start. Some like it some realize its not what they want.

No matter what all the knee-jerkers and just general jerks like to say, Notre Dame immediately creates an aura of "class" about whatever sentence it's used in. It is hardly a mystery why a young man who would like to be admired would mention Notre Dame as a place that he liked or that liked him. Notre Dame being mentioned even when in someone's heart they know that they're not going there is one of the least puzzling things about high school player comments to my mind. Unfortunately it means that we, more than any other school, need to take such off-the-cuff comments with more salt.

Per II he will visit ND in the future and are cery much in the race. Clemson, Auburn, USC, and Miami are the other competition.

Btw. Who was the guy who guessed Jayron Kearse as the secret visitor?
