Pure speculation here, but I think at least part of the reason why Jaylon is waiting till August could be to attract a bit more attention to his teammates, a couple of cornerbacks that are are in the hunt for some D1 offers.

I don't view anybody a pion based on whether or not they have "Insider Info". Hell I would view myself as a pion before many here. I just know this is a very important recruit to those on the board and wanted to calm some fears. I know it is easy for me to say no worries because I know what I know. Not as easy for the rest to say the same. We are right where we need to be on this.
Thanks to those that brought cameltoes into the discussion!!! That made me laugh. Not quite sure how it relates but there is always room for a couple of toes!!!

Thanks for the info FWI. ab2cmiller had an interesting view that Smith may want to help his teammates gain some exposure, more importantly the CB’s. Do you have any info on them? I would not mind extending an offer if they're good enough to contribute at the BCS level, we need the bodies at that position and anything to help land this kind I’m all for.
