Now for the silver lining, his throw to 3rd resulted in the hitter trying to get to 2nd on the throw being cut down. Shrew misdirection?
Frazier's play reminded me of Ron "Rocky" Swoboda of the "Amazin'" Mets in '69. When a ball was hit to right field, Swoboda would run in ... then run back, or run back ... then charge back in, or head left or right ... before chasing the ball in the other direction. There was no routine out when Swoboda lliterally roamed the outfield. You knew any ball hit in his direction was going to be an adventure.
Like Frazier, Swoboda hit'em hard. His HRs were a key to the Mets Championship run both during the season and in the WS against the Orioles. He made an amazing catch to choke off a late inning Oriole rally in a WS game the Mets won by a run.
BoSox finally beat the Yankees although it could be said that NY squandered the game through sloppy fielding and base running ... and a poor relief effort by Cessna.
CC fresh off the DL pitched a good game, 3 ER, 7 hits, NO BBs, 8 Ks over 6 innings but 2 of the hits were HRs.
Price was better 2 ER on 6 hits, a BB and 6 Ks over 6.1. He allowed only 1 HR.
Frazier misplayed a ground ball single through the infield into a single and a 2 base error but he did get an assist by throwing to the wrong base, 3rd resulting in the hitter being cut down trying to take 2nd on the throw to 3rd.
Price got more timely hitting and fielding support than CC did.
BoSox 8.5 out but they still have more than a dozen games left with NY. Both teams have key players injured hitters and pitchers.
Who gets them back first AND gets them back productively?

Yanks didn't blow 4-0 lead tonight just a 1 run lead for half an inning. Sox rocked CC for 4 runs in the bottom of the 1st. CC allowed 5 runs on 10 hits in 4.2 innings. Cessna was worse allowing 5 runs on 4 hits in just 1 inning. Sox won 10-2 despite 4 NY double plays. No pitching, no offense.
Rays and Sox win. Rays retake 1st by half game.

To be fair, 6 of those runs came off Jimenez who is destroying balls lately, and Giolito was on the mound, who is making a very strong Cy Young case this year.
