Who prefers right hand or left hand? And is it your dominant hand or not? Metal or leather band?

Usually you wear the timepiece on your non-dominant hand. I am left handed therefore I wear it on my right hand.
As far as Metal, leather or rubber? TIFWIW, for a dressy occasion, such as a tux or a nice evening out when you are wearing a suit, a watch with leather band is good. Dress casual or shorts with a polo shirt, metal band. Athletic look, rubber band with a GShock type watch is ok. These are not the only way to go, just what I try adhere to. I am kind of a stuffy traditionalist when it comes to clothes and accessories.

The last watch I owned was one of these bad boys:

*Just out of curiosity, how much would a very low end/entry level Rolex run?

Unfortunately there is no real low end Rolex, even used pieces are ridiculously high. Sometimes you can get lucky and find a jeweler that deals in used models. New entry level Rolex's can run around $7,000.

Some dealers sell the entry level Rolex that is normally $7,000 for around $4,900.

Love automatics but am starting to enjoy quartz watches more-really like the Citizen Eco's because of the ability to throw it on and not have to worry about setting time. Just picked this Zodiac Seadragon up:

My employer buys us a Rolex for our five year anniversary...pretty sweet. I only have one more year to go.

Nice to see some employers still do things like that for their employees! Do they celebrate other major employment anniversaries?

Ive been a watch person for most of my life. I used to be a big fan of Movado quartz watches till I got into automatic movements. My three watches in current rotation are a Submariner ceramic, Date Just II with Rhodium and Arabic numerals and a Baume and Mercier rose gold Rivera.

They sure do, ten years an all inclusive 7 day trip to anywhere in the world.

I also would like to know how the G-Shocks are. I've been rocking the same Timex Ironman for about 4.5 years every day and it's getting pretty beat up. For my job, I need a digital stop watch but I much prefer the look of analog. The GA110 series looks perfect for my needs.

Here is a link to their Automotive inspired watches. These are the best looking Swiss made watches for under $500 I've ever seen. Probably manufactured under the Movado umbrella.
