Mods, I hope it’s okay I create a separate thread for this,… I just didn’t want this Q to get lost in the broader threads,… color me super curious…

For anyone at the game today, what were your experiences with their fans? I’ve heard pretty crazy shit from family and friends over the years in regards to Badger fans and I’d love to know how the encounters went today.

Wisky fans flooded Vegas when they played at UNLV, they were all pretty cool. The worse fans I've been around are ASU fans.

I've been around wiscy fans quite a bit when I lived in Indy for either the BIG FB CCG or for the BIG BB Tourney. They have always been nothing but nice and a good time, including yesterday.

Wisconsin fans telling me to sit down, I can’t see yesterday. Go f yourselves. ND fans showed out in the south endzone. The loudest I’ve seen Soldier Field in a while. Props

Sat deep in Wisconsin territory in the south end zone. The UW fans were enthusiastic and friendly, we had a great time.

I live on the southern side of the Illinois/Wisconsin line. Never had a bad experience for Packers/Badgers/Brewers at the stadium.

However they are very smug and passive aggressive in the pub and in real world environments. I think the long term Packer success had them feeling entitled and they feel they "know" more than the average fan because they've been watching Favre and Rodgers for the last 30 years. Most of them don't even know what it's like NOT to have a franchise QB.

Full disclosure, I'm married into a Packer family. As a Jets fan... it can be pretty brutal.

THANK YOU for winning Irish.
It would've made the holidays unbearable especially with the knowledge that we would've boat raced them last year.

Worst fans I've ever experienced personally were Michigan fans. They used to regularly walk around campus like they owned the place, even in years they were bad or mediocre. It was a regular occurrence to see them starting heated conversations or some fist fights. Fortunately things have calmed down in the last 10-15 years as Michigan has delved further into mediocrity, I haven't seen the bad behavior as much or at all...but we also haven't played as much.

Some of the best fans were Utah, Nebraska, and any military academies. They were polite and respectful in the times we've played them. Georgia fans were fairly good too, but absolutely awful about garbage. Campus was thoroughly destroyed when the Bulldogs came in a few years ago...beer bottles everywhere, smashed glass on the sidewalks and roads, piles of cans... it's like they've never heard of a garbage can.

Worst fans I've heard of but didn't get to experience has been Miami fans. Family went down to Florida for a game back in the day, I guess it was bad enough they said they'd never go back. Fans were very confrontational and rude. There were Cane fans dumping beer on Irish fans, and I guess some even got pissed on. I heard some bad stuff went down the last time we played them in 2017 too, abusing fans and something about Devin Butler's handicapped family member getting harassed or something. Pretty low class stuff either way.

[EDIT] I was wrong, the Devin Butler thing was FSU and not Miami. A fan threw alcohol in the eyes of Devin's handicapped brother and 5 year old daughter. Either way...screw Florida schools I guess.

I just saw a bunch of scUM fans going on and on about how ND is scared of them and how they are the unquestioned kings of cfb earlier today via social media,… the level of either coordinated trolling or flat out ignorance was honestly impressive either way,…

Service academies games are almost annoying how everyone is going out of their way to respect each other

Michigan's all time winning percaentage: .728
Notre Dame's all time winning percentage: .729

We'd be #1 still I think if the 2012/2013 games weren't erased, and as it stands we probably won't catch up to tOSU/Alabama while those teams are rolling again.

I went to the Miami game at Soldier Field and their fans were awful, at least in our section. Looking for fights and talking shit down down 4 TDs. Sad.

That's actually funny more than anything. Who talks shit when they're down 4 TDs?

As a former one myself, I see nothing wrong with respecting each other. A lot of fans should take note & respect each other.

Nothing wrong with respecting each other. It was just overly nice to each other, no smack talk or anything before the game or during.

My BiL who retired LtCol from the marines wants to go to an Army Navy game one day and hold up this:
