Considering he's from Georgia and FSU is in the ACC..... I'm pretty confused.

I guess that was confusing. I think LSU and Georgia have a good chance. FSU is in the ACC and yes they are still in play.., I should have worded that better. My point was he will probably stay in the south.., and not necessarily FSU (ACC School) is what I should have said. lol. I don't think we get this kid.., although I would love to be wrong about that.

It would be a tough pull but that was said about Tuitt also. If he follows through with his OV to Notre Dame then we have a chance.

I totally agree with you Irish Man 3. We need to get him on campus for an Official. I would be a VERY happy camper if we are to pull him. Like I said I would love to be wrong about this guy about staying down south. Would love to see him in Blue and Gold.

as of now, LSU is not the leader for drew, most LSU "insiders" considered him a "longshot"

btw, their DL has just as much young talent as any other team in the SEC so the "playing time" argument doesnt hold much weight either...

yea right. that is not the case at all. Les Miles and the tigers beat writer was just on the knoxville sports animal today talking about their defensive line troubles. They have solid players but no up and coming youth. For what its worth, I'll take the head coach of the LSU tigers word for it.
Not to mention the fact that there is no school in the SEC or maybe the country with the depth and young talent on the d line that Florida has.

Well that's not very smart. He'll probably take away his scholarship after he enrolls for the summer.

Haha i hear that. its unreal how uneducated Les Miles sounds. I mean Ive seen interviews on television, but listening to a 15 minutes conversation was terrible. He has no attention span and a terrible vocabulary. He's pretty comparable to a Mike Tyson interview minus the "eating your children" part.

wait, what?

last year LSU brought in allen, ferguson, and maclin all 4 stars just on the d-line(true freshmen)

the year before that they brought in 4 star mingo, 4 star montgomery, 4 star brockers and 5 star davenport. (rs freshmen)

some recruits are scared by the depth at LSU, just as they are at florida. mickey johnson is a prime example of a guy who wants immediate playing time who is struggling with a home-state commitment to LSU.

btw, i am getting my phd from LSU, so ill go out on a limb and say i am more familiar with the program then a guy who makes futile attempts to have insider knowledge on an internet message board.

and for the most part, LSU defense has been elite this year, it is their offense who is garbage.

lsu national ranks:
8th in country in rushing defense
9th in total defense
5th in scoring defense
22nd in sacks

les miles is a dumbass, but he knows better then to talk about "defensive line troubles". that doesnt even make sense. miles compliments his defense every press conference. what a load of BS.

your right. i made that up to sound intelligent. LSU's defensive coordinator was formerly the DC at tennessee. John Adams is covering the story in Death Valley for the university of tennessee and had both he and Les Miles on yesterday. He bragged about his LB core and of course Patrick. He said," We dont have much of a weakness, but if we do its on the d line."
Listen online because they replay all interviews the day after at around 3 p.m eatern. sports animal 99.1 fm and 9900 am.

Martin could commit soon if he did indeed receive an offer. Bookend brothers.

Must be slipping with Richardson then.

French has a visit lined up to Texas A&M next weekend.

Would love to see Niklas and Drew setup Officials

How does Martin fit in with IShaq, French, Drew, and Lyons? It sounds like we're sitting fairly well with all of them. Are we going to be able to make enough space if a few of them commit and Martin does as well??

I don't think we will get all 4. That's a lot of talent with a lot of options. Staff knows something we don't.

I think Martin is a real possibility. The question I have is who do we finally end up with of the obvious 3 that we have been talking about so much? French? Lyons? IShaq? maybe 3 out of these four? 2? Should be interesting.

Good point. So it would be safe to say that Shuler and Huggins are probably out of the mix. And if we're not taking all 4, then either we've cooled on one of those 4 or we're not sitting as well as we all think. Why else would they extend a scholarship when we already have 20 commits?

I don't think we have any chance with Suggins/Shuler. I was also suprised to see we extended an offer to Martin. I think he would be a good fit, and with his older brother at Notre Dame, I think it would help Nick out. I am sure the Staff at Notre Dame knows something we don't. We can speculate all day long on here, but I'm sure the staff has a pretty good idea who we have a good shot at, so I am also assuming that a few of our favorites might be cooling off.

I will be honest...if we would lock this class up RIGHT NOW...with the commitments we have- I would be happy!

I think we get I. Williams and Martin

I think we get I. Williams and Martin

If we win out, (highly doubt it - we lose to Utah) we could get Huggins, Shuler and Lyons.

I would be happy with Williams, French and Lyons. I think Shuler and Huggins are long shots. I hope I am wrong.

The current commits are a pretty good class. As is we would not stay in the top 5. But, we will be in the top ten.

I hope we take 23 or 24. That could keep us in the top 5.

Martin is a tough one. You think he would want to play with his brother, but his dad played at Kentucky and has some connection with their head coach.

I'm under the impression that we haven't offered him yet? I think we get him if the staff wants him.

And just like we should have with Silver Tate. We should offer Martin.

George is slated to play WR. Which is why we could use Lyons.

We need corners and safeties more than any other position on this roster IMHO. I'd be shocked if both Atkinsons' didn't at least begin in the defensive backfield. Especially after the Daniels commit.

That is one thing I would question BK on....he stockpling the WR when we have a position of need (DBs)...Collingsworth is a good example....what that heck is going on there? We sure could of used him at FS to give some depth...yet they use him on Kick Off Cover...and has not seen anytime at WR cause we are loaded...wtf!
