Not to take away from this thread, but they are correct, it is not academic Spanish, however for those of us who have traveled outside of the continetal US and tool the time to learn the language of the host country, they appreciate that. Same can be said of othr countries, learn or at least have a working knowledge of thier language and they (host nations indigenous people) will be somewhat happy.

Well, I think there can be no good surprises for ND tomorrow....any surprises would be bad. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that ND holds onto all of the verbal commits, which it seems like they will.

That's odd... the last report I read was that he and Arik were all set to go to Oregon together until Shaq changed his mind.

How do you figure "we got our asses kicked?"

Did our coaches have to get in an octagon with other coaches to come out with any recruits? Did they come out bloody and beaten? With “noda”?

Or did we come out with exactly what we needed at each position?

Did we come out with a class of the most underrated players we have ever had? (One of the fastest too.)

Did we get rid of the problem recruits that weren't really committed and may not have had the football upside or the self-discipline to make it in our program? Only time will tell.

But the truth may never be known. I think each of the players that decommitted was cut loose, all in the last couple months, one as recently as last night.

I think that is spot on actually.

Bob Holzman on ESPN U just said Brian Kelly is still recruiting for THIS season, and has contacted 17 recruits in class of 2013.

I know its a fluff update, but who are the targets? Off the radar guys, or are we still in the mix with Neal, Diamond, etc.???

Losing the guys we lost hurt for sure. All we an do as fans is wait wTch and hope. So maybe they'll get a guy for next season if not alot of energy needs to go Ito the 2013 class an een more needs to go into coaching uo what we have to get te absolute most out of these kids. We win, we recruit better! It's that simple.

Sorry bogtrotter, I wasn't speaking about the class as a whole, just today didn't go so well. I love the guys we got and I'm ecstatic to see Tee and Day getting some minutes on the defense next season.

But are you so delusional to actually believe that Greenberry, Darby, and Decker were told they didn't have a spot and were axed by the coaches???

This is Coach Kelly's ship and I think it is very realistic for him to have the told the guys, either you're in or you're out. Meaning if you are non-committal at this point, then you won't be committed for the long haul. Good luck, have fun at state U. Watch Kelly's 7:17 video from this morning. I think it will give you the perspective (especially from 6:00 on) that bogtrotter and I both share.

Watched it. Kelly specifically said he didn't know Greenberry was gone until his coach told him he was signing papers this morning. I think what your talking about is not worrying about the de-commitments cause they are either RKG's or not. And it takes a specific kid to want to play at ND.
