Nice. The Arturo Sandoval concert in SB (I think 2007) was one of the best concerts I have ever been to. That dude is amazing. He plays around 10 instruments.
I can't say I'm a huge Blues guy, but I do like to listen to the Blues Hour, here on HPR. It comes on after 10p, on the weekends. Come to Hawaii, brother, my friends can hook you up with that weed request!
I love Latin Jazz. One of my favorite pianists is/was Ruben Gonzalez. In his later years, he played with Buena Vista Social Club and the Afro-Cuban All Stars. If you haven't seen it, watch "Buena Vista Social Club". Play it with your surround sound, or headphones. Even for an old video, the sound is amazing.

A good friend of mine from PR is a musician and has turned me on to a lot of Latin Jazz. I really love the Cuban stuff. Jelly is more Jazz than Blues, and Bessie was a huge influence to Jazz. Both are included in the Ken Burns Jazz History. First learned of both while taking a history of rock and roll class in college. Believe it or not, one of the hardest undergrad classes I had at the time.
I'm going to be setting up a new NAS that I got for Christmas. Once I get the music on it, I'll give you access to the folder.
Will definitely take you up on the offer in Hawaii! I've been spending most of my vacation time in Belize and Naples, but we've been wanting to get out there in the next couple years. That flight time bro...
