I’m now about 60 pages deep into the Necromancers House. I really like Buehlman for horror and thus far this book has more going on than just about any other fiction I’ve read ~60 pages of, Russian mafia, a Sumerian god who eats cats, killer mermaids in Lake Ontario, a demon trapped in a freight car, a dead dog brought back to life in a wicker man suit, AA meetings all centered around a self loathing wizard who gets off pretending he’s a samurai,… its so much I can not yet give an opinion on it lol
