The ACamp Special. A single runny egg yolk topped with hot sauce, eaten in a single bite.

My wife made me PB&J for lunch today. No crust, crunchy peanut butter, and strawberry jelly. So while you fancy guys make your five star lunches for the game, just know I have two of them bad boys riding shotgun in my lunch box. Be jealous.

Wiz' is straight out of a horror story, I'd give away national secrets before eating that...

Cory, who doesn't love PBJ... I love adding honey and always take time in the jelly jam section... Big jam guy, Apple butter too

I am not a fan of PB&J. Give me a PB&Honey any day though. Also creamy PB is the best.

Screw the bread with no edges. Give me two toasted eggo waffles with syrup and peanut butter.

On a semi related note, my brother eats eggo waffles with ketchup. I almost threw up in my mouth just thinking about it.

Last night I made pork loin and my mustard base bbq sauce with andouille cornbread, and wilted spinach.

During the game I christened the new unit, beer can chicken FTW.

Bird #1:
On/in the bird - Applewood rub, garlic powder, onion powder melted butter
In the can - Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, fresh thyme, whole garlic cloves

Bird #2:
On/in the bird - special blend of NM fajita seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, melted butter
In the can - olive oil, butter, water, fresh Rosemary, whole garlic cloves

Birds were prepared by covering with rub, butter was added to rub and injected into respective bird. Placed in smoker at 250 for about 2.5hrs, checking every 30-45 and basting.

Yes. It works as a stuffing as well.

I par cook the andouille and cook out most of the fat. Chop it fine (knife or processor). Pat dry and cool.

Make the cornbread mix,a little chili or cayene powder, add in andouille that is dry and cool.

Mix well and I will either put it in my cast iron pan or make muffins with it. Bake like normal cornbread.

Emerill has a great recipe for stuffing.

Carolina BBQ:
3/4 cup prepared yellow mustard
1/2 cup honey
1/4 apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon salt (to taste really)
1 table spoon black pepper (to taste really)
4 tablespoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1 teaspoon red pepper flake

Mix well and heat to a simmer to increase flavor.

I'll try both, reps... I make a mean cornbread but it's just standard cornbread... maybe time to expand on it...

I'll try the mustard BBQ this weekend... making pulled pork.

Last night I made cowboy casserole.

ground beef, onions, peppers, and beans (I use Bush's Grilling beans) with some seasoning (cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper, seasoning salt). I brown the beef in a cast iron skillet then I throw the rest of the ingredients in for a little bit. Separately I combine the ingredients for a cornbread mix and then I pour the prepared cornbread mix over the mixture and throw it into the oven. A simple meal for nights when I don't have time to make a nice meal.

That's good stuff right there... of course I serve mine with hot sauce but we make something pretty similar. We also do a casserole of ground beef, corn, green chiles, cheese and top it with mashed potatoes... my wife and her family call it 'texas round up'... all I know it's a good, quick meal...

On Bush's Grilling beans, are those not the truth!?! I love the Southern Pit BBQ ones, though all of them are pretty good...
