Had all kinds tonight. Rusty Rail Afterglow NEIPA was nice. Could taste the rye and cranberry in it.

Tried the Budweiser Copper Reserve which is aged in Jim Beam barrels. It was surprisingly good.

Also, big fan of Lagunitas Super Cluster

Founders Breakfast Stout.

When's SN Celebration come out??

Also I have a bet with a friend on our fantasy matchup this week. Whoever wins gets an old dusty from a local mini mart.

BTW, I saw 12ers of Celebration at my local Target a couple days ago....

Already finished a 6 pack of SN Celebration........

Right now
Lagunitas 2016 High Westified Coffee Stout. Was a great beer fresh but even better now. Coffee has faded to the background but is still present. Lots of molasses, vanilla and chocolate. Coffee provides some balancing bitterness.

Logsdon Whale Watcher on draft. Very drinkable. In my opinion Logsdon does the best farmhouse ales/sours in the country.

I know it's popular to hate on Dogfishhead but they just rereleased their 75 minute ipa which is the bees knees and very reasonably priced.

Founders also released Canadian Breakfast Stout. Outrageously priced... completely absurd... I bought 3 bombers lol.

Dogfishhead has a Blood Orange IPA called Flesh & Blood which I thought was great. Of course I was lit by then, sitting at a pool in 95 degree weather. Not sure how I'd look at it if I were sitting in a taproom.

That’s tough, however I would take a Logsdon Seizoen Bretta or Seizoen over all of those. They are fantastic beers. Similar to a DuPont (one of my favorite beers) in terms of color, body and carbonation but with a sharper flavor profile. The sour and tartness are there to the point of the flavor being crisp but not to the point of being overpowering and with a nice dry finish.

Now I’m going to have to do a taste test to make sure. Cheers!

just cracked the "12-0 superstition BL"

I get the whole superstition and sticking with what's worked so far thing, but did it ever occur to you that if you keep on drinking that stuff, you may not still be alive to see ND beat Clemson in January?

Thanks for caring brother. I'll be just fine to see us beat Bama and Clemson in two months. That's why I drink light beer.

Bitch just sounds scared to me.........

nah. i don't need flavored pumpkin spiced beer. all this flavored beer stuff reminds me of wine cooler days. give me a guinness, peroni, hefeweizen, or stella any day. all this high priced hipster stuff is fine if you like it, i'll save my money for high end scotch and whiskey. don't even need that really either. give me peroni and a bottle of turkey. real drink.

What's up, bros. Who changed my title? That's fucking sweet!

Anyway, I'm in a private whisk(e)y club, and we did a big event. Had the pleasure of trying some Ala Wai Whisky, since the owners are a part of our group. "Batch 14" is amazing. Chances are, you'll never get it, since this company is, literally, two dudes making single barrels of amazing stuff.

They do this accelerated aging process, which is actually fascinating (one of the owners is a chemist.) Basically, they use Hawaii's hot climate and some freezers to advance the seasons. They experiment with different woods/barrels and yeast, then hope for the best. They are about to get some VC backing, so they are looking to scale up. Still, I think they're back-ordered (Japan and Taiwan, mostly) for like two years.

Ignore the fact that the actual Ala Wai is a shit-infested cesspool, these guys make great stuff. Get it if you see it.

An old NB Abbey, which was great.
