I've never heard much hype tbh so I'm pretty impressed. Most people I've heard say that it's too hot when young and might never be anything more than gasoline.

This is actually like a barleywine, which is the best I could hope for. Not the right viscosity and only a little bit of dark fruit flavor as opposed to exploding with it, but overall I like it.

I never hear hype on their beer, maybe it was an earlier beer trend. They're a huge name I know, but I don't know many people who hype them.

Because DFH is infamously overrated and overpriced. Of all legit breweries, I probably dislike them the most.

I honestly didn’t know that was commonly held, but yeah, I’ve crusaded against them a bunch here in the past... it’s not that they’re bad, but wouldn’t crack my list of fav brewers whilebeing much higher priced than any that would...

I really enjoy Dogfishhead, and don't hear much hype on them, but I'll agree with their overpricing. 4 packs are scummy in general. Trying to get you to buy 2/3rds of the product at 9/10 of the cost, and hope you don't have the mental flexibility to work it out.

Gumballhead is such a great beer. I'll always grab a pint at the Morris Inn before games, wish 3F would expand to PA.
