So sours have like ruined beer for me... it’s all I enjoy drinking these days. I’m all over the Gose craze.

I'd actually take Michelob Ultra for one of the better main market pil... I know that doesn't say much but for what it is....

Speaking of, Yuengling just launched a Golden Pils. Something they've never done before. It's good. Better taste than most macros IMO, crisp, definitely drinkable. I can see myself sitting outside with some friends with a session of it slowly getting drunk.

Just had the Stalin’s Darkside Imperial Russian Stout aged in a bourbon barrel at Evil Czech and it was unreal. Highly recommend

This year's KBS is really good. Central Market had 4 packs for I swear $17, but were sold out (obviously). Got a bottle for $6.50 after some chartreuse as today marks the 3rd anniversary of my reception into the Catholic Church. No better reason to celebrate in my (admittedly short) life.

Good to hear. I picked up a few bottles at $6 each.

I got a 4 pack after for $22. Stuff goes pretty quick yknow.

Prairie's deconstructed bombs are very good. Had the cacao nibs yesterday, coffee today. Great stuff.

Now I'm just on an IPA for Brazos Valley. One of their seasonal single hops, I can never keep them straight but they're always at least solid.

Had to run to the store to get oil for dinner(frying some lumpia) and decided to get a Ruination. Stone has jumped the shark a bit lately with many if their new releases if I'm honest... but this is still very good. Do they even do Enjoy By anymore? I haven't seen it in a while...

Also, my hunt for Thai Chili Wahoo continues to thwart me... I hope it comes back soon, my local brewery that had the other pepper beer I enjoyed closed down.

Yeah. This season's enjoy by is also pretty good too. Some of their most recent stuff has been mediocre like the Scorpion, Virtuale was just ok, and I thought their double IPA was good but not exceptional. But this Totalitarian imperial stout was tasty and their Tangerine Express was very good so I'm glad it's a staple now.

St Arnold Blood Orange Blonde. This is damn tasty

Had the Daou Cabernet 2015, this weekend. (Not to be confused with Darioush). Not bad, especially for the price-point. Plummy cab, drink it now.

Opened my Nikka Coffey Grain. Haven't had this particular one for a few years. Really nice, smooth, whisky.

Martin House has a Gin and Juice inspired beer, gotta try that. Mind On My Money | Martin House Brewing Company

Also, a Dallas Brewery is doing temporary circulation into Austin during June. Fascinating decision.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Dallas' <a href="https://twitter.com/Peticolas?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@Peticolas</a> brewery is headed for distribution in Austin starting in July ... and also ending in July. For 31 days, the brewery will hold a Beer Vacation showcasing their prized beers, like Velvet Hammer, outside of their 39 mile distribution radius for the first time. <a href="https://t.co/xkeej2c6pQ">pic.twitter.com/xkeej2c6pQ</a></p>— Beerwords (@anavenueblog) <a href="https://twitter.com/anavenueblog/status/983789121641566208?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">April 10, 2018</a></blockquote>

Martin House makes damn good beer too. I had a sour raspberry from them on Friday that was very good. Great IPAs too

Sours are ruining me... they have really impacted my palate and they are typically more pricey. There's no saving me now......

Zilker Anniversary Ale. Super crushable IPA, but I feel like it's missing something. Still good, but I rarely spend more than $10 on a 6er, so this probably will be the only time I get it.
