Okay. I thought it was an Imperial Brown and thought that you didn't much care for browns. I wanted some opinions before I picked up a bomber; I got Hop Stoopid instead.

You are correct, generally I don't enjoy brown ales. This beer to me walks the line between Imperial Brown and American Strong Ale.

So I'm making my first pilgrimage to 3 Floyds this weekend. I have just recently in the past 6months had 3 Floyds - alpha king, zombie dust, gumball head, space station middle finger and yum yum. Loved all of them except for yum yum.

Does anyone have any recommendations based on the tap list now available in the brewpub?

Some of my favs...War Mullet, Apocalypse Cow, Cimerian Sabertooth Bezerker, Gumballhead, Permanent Funeral and Artic Panzer Wolf. Have fun!

I can't recall if it was $4.50 or $5. I'm moving near an HEB with much better selection (it's the one where I keep finding good stuff that's already sold out elsewhere) and while perusing the selection today, I opted for Hop Stoopid over WTF.

Thanks! I'll let you know what I end up with. Should be a great day, the wife has 2 baby/bridal showers to go to. So, a trip to 3 floyds should be great. May even consider stopping in at greenbush.

That is not a good beer. Their Boo Koo IPA is very good and their Kismet IPA is pretty good. I also had their Imagionation Land Golden Coffee Stout which was interesting.

Great list. I'd add Drednaught to it. That and Permanent Funeral are my two favorite 3F.

Bready with caramel and a little toffee. A good amount of pine resin a hint of citrus. Pretty good but nothing special. 85-87.

Gonna hit up this Strike first, then go from there...

The Strike Horn Rounder smells very citrusy... Lots of grapefruit, lots of lemon... Some piney hops...

Tastes kind of like a milder version of Mosaic, I'm pleased... Doesn't have the bite KSM has but still good enough, I'm impressed, I bought it simply for the baseball logo, lol not excellent but nothing really wrong with it either.
