It's very seasonal, if that makes any sense. It would taste out of place at anything other than a Christmas party.

Thanks.

Lindemans Gueuze Cuvee Rene is a very good slightly sour beer and easy to find.
Cuvée Des Jacobins Rouge is a very good sour beer as well that is regularly available.
New Belgium La Folie is a very good sour beer though can be expensive depending on where you are at.
Duchesse De Bourgogne is good as well.
Rodenbach Grand Cru is great but can be expensive.
Harder to find depending on where you are:
Jolly Pumpkin makes a good assortment of sour beers.
Russian River (though probably not available where you are) make the best sour beers.
The Bruery makes good ones as well (not sure if available by you or not)
I had a le terroir today by new Belgium. Excellent sour.Awesome. Thank you. I'm normally an ipa fan but these sours are a very nice and different choice.
What is everyone drinking tomorrow and on Christmas?

No whiskey on that list...
True. I probably won't have any whisky on Christmas as I will be at my parents, but I will probably break out some Scotch tomorrow night after I finish wrapping the presents, just not sure exactly what I will pour.
What whisk(e)y are you going to have?
Jameson maybe but not sure to be honest. Been on a Laphroaig 10 yo kick lately but maybe santa will have some Lagavulin for me.
Hop Stoopid. Damn delicious. Gotta be careful if I don't wanna be hungover on the plane tomorrow. Also, anybody know of a good place to get a beer in Atlanta airport?
I get in right before the liquor store will close, but if I can make it, I'll get some Amaro, beer for my annual Christmas tradition of a beer shower, and I'm not sure what else. Also, I'm packing a bottle of Foudreweizen and Strange Land Belgian Imperial Stout for a friend.
Good luck. I've only eaten in the ATL airport, never drank. Probably going to find lots of Sweetwater but not a lot of Amaro.

I got a bottle of Ass Clown Dark Chocolate Dipped Peppermint Stout from a friend for Christmas. He says it's rare. There's no ratings on either Rate Beer or Beer Advocate. Anybody had/heard of this? Should I drink it now or save it for a special occasion? I'm leaning towards the latter.

Untappd has it listed (I think it is the same beer).

I have not heard of it. I think that it would be a great beer to drink on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Will you have someone to share it with today or tomorrow?

I have my 5 whiskies picked out for tonight.
Drumroll...and they are?
Boulevard Bourbon Barrel Quad (BBQ). Never had a bourbon barrel aged quad before, actually been a while since I've had a quad. This is an interesting beer.
Interesting as in good?
The whiskies are
Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve 15yo
Macallan 18yo 1991
Lagavulin DE 1991 finished in Pedro Ximenez casks
Benriach Peated Pedro Ximenez cask finished 1986 23yo. cask 3182
Karuizawa 1985 24yo sherry cask #7017
Yes, good. I saw this is a 100 pt beer on BA. Not sure if its that good for me. Taste the bourbon (good) but also get a cherry taste (not a fan of personally).
