Home brew, bitches!

It's an Amarillo pale ale, sorta malty, but good.

Hop City Hopbot IPA. A Canadian take on a West Coast IPA. Overall it is pretty good, rather sweet with citrus and tropical fruits to go along with some sweet malt. Almost no hop bitterness to balance though.

I actually prefer Shipyard's Pumpkinhead to Smashed Pumpkin.

I do enjoy pumpkin ales and ciders (Ace makes a good pumpkin cider)... I love this time of year... weather cools down, finally, baseball in full swing, soccer, college football... soups, chilis, pumpkin everything and the build to Halloween.

Let's do it, i may get some pumpkin ale this very evening now.

Currently drinking an Ethos IPA, a delicious citrusy beer from Tallgrass Brewing Co. in Manhattan, KS. It is part of my gameday regimen of beer. A four pack of Ethos and a four pack of Ruination/Myrcenary depending on the week!

I take it that frequent bathroom breaks and passing out on the couch drunk are also part of your gameday routine.

I can handle my liquor in an inhuman way. I even add Jameson to the mix for touchdown shots!

Central City Brewing Red Betty IPA. Another Canadian IPA. This is a little better than the previous one as it has more hop bitterness to it.

3F Backmasking. Not a stout guy at all, but somebody left a bomber of it in the fridge, and it's "purge the fridge Friday" to get it cleaned out for the season next weekend.

Stopped back at Shorts brewpub today. End the summer on a high note. Had a flight of 5 I hadn't tried before. Also bought two 6 packs of new to me brews. Man, I love that place.

Tried Founders Curmudgeon the other day. It was good, but not my favorite Old Ale. Still much prefer North Coast's Old Stock Ale and Fuller's 1845. Probably wouldn't have picked it up had I realized it clocks in at 50 IBU.

Oskar Blues Dale's Pale Ale while watching Texas A&M vs S. Carolina. A nice way to start the football season (I don't count last nights game though it was entertaining).

Some leftover BV Napa Cab 2012 as it is a kitchen sink type of day. I picked this up for $12 at Costco a while back and it isn't bad for that price. Now if you are paying $20 then find something else.
