You're speaking for the majority of us. We are guys. We all have to F up once in a while.

Your post was perfectly supported by the one that followed haha:

Shotgunning Four Loko's is also an interesting experience. And your decisions don't get better after a stunt like that either lol.

I never joined the Four Loko craze. It seemed efficient, though. I would bring a 12-pack of Rolling Rock to pregame, while I had friends that would each have a couple cans of Four Loko. It would take me an hour or two to get warmed up; it would take them 15 minutes.

ALSO: Moving this stuff to the "what are you drinking" thread lol.

I haven't shot gunned or beer bonged or done a keg stand in years... Are these things people continue to do outside of college... The only thing I do remotely like that is when all my college buddies get together we all take one shot of whatever... #thuglife

Once a year, my friends and I get together and consume unreasonable amounts of Mad Dog. It's so bad.

We also do Edward Fortyhands once a year with Steel Reserve.

These things started years ago, in college. We still don't make great decisions.
The last time I did Edward Fortyhands was sophomore year, Michigan pep rally. There was some kind of dorm thing going on where, in between drinking and the pep rally, we were running around campus for some reason that now escapes me. Needless to say, Edward Fourtyhands and running laps around South Quad don't mix. I spend about an our curled up on the floor of the JACC.

I just heard a coworker talking about sending her kids to her parents on Halloween so she could have a party with flip cup and beer pong and a costume contest. I believe she's in her 40s.

Flip cup is different,... Lol... Now that you mention it we play that constantly... For some reason I don't equate that with the others tho...

We do Fortyhands once a year, generally the Tuesday night before Thanksgiving. Most of our friends get Wednesday-Friday off for Thanksgiving, so it's a nice way to start the holiday. And it's tradition.

We don't play beer pong so much anymore, but we occasionally play a game called Murderball/Speedball on college football Saturdays if everyone is feeling good. It's either a victory game or a pregame game to get the beers flowing (rapidly).

Fantastic game, a lot of chugging. My last year in college, we took a trip to Gatlinburg for Spring Break. Four of us stayed up one night to play Murderball. We played 24 games, aka a case per person, in three hours. Worst hangover I've ever had. I thought I was going to die.

I like flip cup cuz you don't even have to drink, but those who want to obviously can... but even then there's not much slamming of beers so you can have goofy fun without anyone getting hammered. No one in my circle is a fan of just getting shit faced anymore...

I guess I evolved out of drinking games when I started to really enjoy beer. It used to be a way to get super drunk when drinking wasn't something I really enjoyed. But when you buy good beer and enjoy drinking it, you don't want to drink it warm and foamy with half of it ending up on the floor. For me, "drinking games" have become games-you-play-while-drinking, as opposed to the drinking being part of the game. Drunk Rock Band is super fun, as is drunk charades and the like.

Im with ya, for me, anything that has the object of, 'Get fd up fast,' isn't a part of my world anymore...

Cards Against Humanity and Settlers of Catan are two drinking favs around here... Then of course there's CoD zombies and my wife and I have an OG NES in our bedroom... We get on some Dr Mario and such while drinking every now and then...

Generally this is how it goes. I'll take a six pack of good beer to a friends house and just enjoy the beer during the game.

But occasionally a larger-than-normal crowd will gather to watch the games, someone makes a challenge, and drinking games ensue pre-or-post game. That's when we dig the cheap beers out of the basement fridge and revisit the *glory* days.

Drunk Catan is great but I don't have the expansions. :( Drunk Balderdash is usually good for a lot of laughs.

The looters/Vikings (forget the name, the one with knights in it) is diabolical, some of the special cards in that pack are just evil. Example: pick any two number tokens and switch them. Meaning you can take someone's 9 spot on ore and switch it with your 2 on wool...

Has Celebration Sierra Nevada always been an IPA, I swear I remember it being just an ale... Anyways picked up a sixer of the IPA version.

I saw this the other day, but couldn't pull the trigger just yet. Let me know what you think.

I looked it up, it's always been an ipa, just marketed as an ale in packaging... They're just now packaging it as Fresh Hop IPA... So it's the same, and it's amazing dude, one of SNs best beers, I'm sick right now so I may not open one for a couple days but, love this beer.

Really debating whether I should pick one up now or not...definitely gonna be a gametime decision.

Off memory: its like a x mas IPA with cinnamon, caramel and orange with other spice notes... Very wintery... Maybe that helps?

Really? That doesn't sound too much like something I'd enjoy actually. Unless it's very well done, which it probably is. Eh, I guess I'll have to try it.

It's done very well but sometimes it just doesn't fit a persons tastes,... Ptk and pumpkin beers would be an example

Agreed. Artificial "pumpkin spice" or "Christmas cookie spice" beers are awful. It doesn't sound like Celebration is one of those beers though.

It's really good. I'm not a huge Christmas ale type but I really like this one
