I'm a big fan of everything they do, but this isn't my favorite.....still a solid 8/10 though.

When I had it I got the feeling that either they used bourbon barrels that had been around the block a few times (maybe 3rd fill) or that the beer only spent a very short amount of time in the barrels (or maybe both). I would agree that it isn't a bad beer, just one that I won't probably buy again (unless I saw it on tap, then I might be interested to try it again).

Actually I thought it was really good. Supposedly it has cocoa nibs and cocoa powder but they were really almost non existent. Just a touch on the back end. I liked it.

PS: Lions suck.
