I have no idea. I'm just throwing out theories. I haven't watched the new episodes yet.

And FWIW, I wasn't necessarily disagreeing, just talking it out with ya. Sometimes these shows like to show you something and let you think you know what you are looking at, but later on reveal that it wasn't the case. I'm wondering if maybe that is what took place here.

This last episode was amazing. The show is hitting full stride already IMO. Very intriguing stuff.

Probably a big time investor. Got one of those lifetime passes...Or he's stuck in there.

I personally don't even think it's a real park. I mean, I know I see the dummies (at least the first two I watched) but I still somehow think this is all in their head or something like that

I don't think this is it, because at some point he said something along the lines of "this trip i'm not leaving until i find the center" insinuating that he leaves and comes back from time to time.

I'd also like to add that he must be a big time celebrity in the real world. I say that because in the last episode while he is sitting around the campfire(?) in the desert with the Snake Lady and a group of others, there are two humans that mention to him how big of an impact he had on their sister(?), in a good way. And MiB says something along the lines of "Are you serious? Not now. This is my vacation."

I also liked the mention of the Easter Eggs.

It was more along the lines of "say one more word and I'll slit your throats. This is my vacation"

I believe the other guest said something about his foundation or charity really helped his sister. So, yea, he must be some bigwig outside the park. And he clearly had a relationship with Arnold. However, I'm going to have to go back and watch the episode again. My lady decided to do some wedding planning in the middle of the episode, I was really excited about that

I absolutely love the use of contemporary music in the series. Be it the jukebox or just instrumental (piano / strings), it's one hell of a touch.

Who's the first person who can identify the song from the orgy tonight? 100,000,000 vBucks.

There was a song playing?

I was too busy looking at all the boobs.

Great episode. I like the build-up. I have a feeling this season may be good to re-watch once it's all said and done. I'm sure I've missed some important stuff. I'm still a bit confused by some of the story.

Yep to both. A little confused and I'll be re-watching, probably around the holidays. I try to read up on some of the fan sites or write-ups as well, that helps me not get too behind, as they will catch things that I may have missed.

Love the show and have a feeling there is something crazy coming.

Do you have a particular favorite fan site(s)? I have my own theories, but might be intersted in seeing what others are saying.

Agreed.
Which sites do you read for the show?

[SPOILER BELOW]

I liked this week's cliff hanger with Maeve holding the bird in the lab. Clearly, shit's about to go down with the hosts. Will she get re-programmed by the "butcher-wannabe-programmer"? Obviously, Dolores is functioning way outside of her loop. Hell, even her programmed responses are lies. A lot to like about where this is going.

After reading some stuff connecting what happened in this most recent episode to things said in the first couple of episodes, I am pretty convinced we are operating on at least two timelines. Possibly three.

Disappointed with a lot of last nights episode. They spent entirely too much time with the black prostitute down in the lab area. They could have kept that piece to about 3-4 minutes and still got the point across. The pool scene was extremely hokie as well.

Very surprised they made the big reveal this early in the life of the show. I hope there are some twists coming that we didn't see.

yeah I did not see that coming, even though I feel like I should have, the clues were there from the get go. Once he didn't see the door, I was like huh? uh oh, then he didn't recognize the blueprint of himself and I was like, oh damn!

I've long thought Bernard was a "host". However, I have a few questions.

Does Ford control everything that Bernard does? If so, why did he want Bernard to find the house on his own, so he would bring Teresa there on his own?

I'm a little confused by how much free will Bernard has, but that Ford essentially admitted to having all of this planned out.

I definitely think there are going to be more twists than what we saw last night. In fact, the previews for future episodes leads me to believe there is still a lot to this story.

I didn't know he was a host until, he mentioned he didn't see the door, then it clicked.

I would assume that there will be more surprises as it goes along, since revealing Bernard was a major twist in the plot. My thought is Ford is trying to make the hosts completely self supporting, in the thoughts, decisions, reactions, etc. I guess you could look at is as the next evolution of AI (artificial intelligence).

Bernard's programmed response to seeing his blueprint was the same as Hector's when he saw the images of the real world. That's when it clicked for me (maybe I'm a little slow).

At this point, I'm assuming Elsie was taken/killed by Ford? I mean if Bernard is essentially a pawn in Ford's plan to weed out people who know too much, etc, then it makes sense that when Elsie started putting pieces together and relayed that info to Bernard, then Ford realized it was time for her to go. Anyone else think she was taken by Ford? Perhaps killed?

I don't think that Elsie is dead. I think she was taken by Arnold or someone working for Arnold. Otherwise, I think they'd have shown her death already. Ultimately, I think she ends up being a part of whatever comes next, in terms of a revolt against Ford.

She's not dead. I think that would be too obvious. I think they didn't showed her in this latest episode to make you think she is dead. Maybe she is the next step in experimentation for Ford? Combine a real human body with the brain of a host or at least implant some technology to control the brain?

Yeah it was definitely well done. But looking back, with Bernards talks with Dolores and his "back story" of having a son. And the way Ford talked to him about his sons death with Bernard showing almost no emotions, looking back it was almost obvious. But hey I didn't catch it. Real good show. hoping for some action soon.

Could Bernard have been real at some point, and Ford killed him and re-created him? Could he do the same with xxx

I hadn't thought about it, but now that you've brought it up, maybe Elsie is dead and he's going to recreate her?

They have a lot of characters each with their own plot. Is this a diversion to keep us from seeing the obvious?

So is it basically a known fact that William and tMiB are the same person?

My theory:

William and Dolores hang out and run around together until Dolores is shot and killed by Logan. The Heads of Westworld will reconfigure her after they find out that she is one of the hosts that can 'remember'.

Logan and Will are part of some big time company where Logan and his father are able to pay Westworld to keep Will there for life unless he can find the center of the maze. Meaning, tMiB and William are the same person.

Notice how tMiB knows where to find the pieces of 'puzzle'? It's because he has tried 100s of times to reach the center but has failed each time. Ala, finding exactly where Lawrence is, how to easily convince Teddy into following him. He knows Lawrence from the first time they meant when he was William.

There are about a thousand more things going on in this show and a ton more to come but this is what I put together in my head the past two episodes.

Yes! I read this on Reddit the other day. But I have another one...

What if the MIB is actually William's future bro-in-law???

I honestly didn't like the show early on, stopped watching after a couple episodes, but it's sucked me back in.
