No throttle here, I just laid out the games against unranked teams. In that group, can they even beat Missouri? I say more likely they go winless in conference than get two wins.

Feel bad for NMSU. The beg to get people on the seats but then at the 3 minute mark in the 1st quarter tied 0-0 they had to empty the stadium. My $15 first row tickets, wasted. I wasn’t going to stick around even if it was just a 30 minute delay. Went and got ice cream and went to bed like an old man.

You have to think Elko would still make that move. They're still a blueblood in the B1G instead of a basketball school in the ACC.

Elko is exactly the kind of guy they should be looking at. Get a solid, no-nonsense coach that can right this defense. The Big 10 West hasn't been particularly good ever, and they don't need a guy to take down OSU right from the start, just find teams that can compete with the Wisconsins and Iowas of the world. Heck, Northwestern has rode that formula to two Big 10 championship games in the last 5 years. The Frost and Pelini teams have been so inconsistent on defense it's ridiculous.

Same at UTEP,.. it was officially a sellout but once the delays ended you and the game started it looked more 75 percent+.

I wouldn’t know on the QB. But I was shocked to see their starter was a short dude. It was like watching a high school team roll out there. We didn’t stay long enough to see what happened after we left. I think if I cared a a little more I’d have sideline passes. A lot of my friends seem to be connected somehow and watch from the sidelines.

Who can Nebraska pull after they fire Frost? If he hadn’t just taken the Duke job, I think Elko could have done well in Lincoln.

Why would anyone go there other than money? Elko is a smart guy, so he has to know that it would be a bad career move even if they can pay you a bunch of money.

Mike Riley is with the New Jersey Generals now. Bo Pelini is 54 years old and unemployed. Bill Callahan is the Browns OL Coach and was never an HC again. Frank Solich ended up getting the last laugh. They'll build a statue of that guy at Ohio U.

Luke Fickell. Matt Campbell. Mark Stoops. Every single one of them could take their current programs now, go to Lincoln and kick Nebraska's ass. Why go there?

Maybe they can convince Jay Norvell? Auburn's AD is gone now and they're itching to get rid of Harsin. Why would Bill O'Brien or Joe Moorehead go to Nebraska? Jeff Hafley from BC, a Jersey guy? It's a job that needs someone who has been a college head coach, so you're reaching into the lower P5 tier or G5 like where Frost was at UCF.

I think you go for Harsin. He's going to want to get out with Texas and OU coming to the SEC anyway. You wouldn't even be buying low if you got him to Lincoln off of an Auburn firing.
