This game has me very nervous.

I feel exactly the same way. I don't know if it's the scaring from the Charlie Weis era, respecing Skip Holtz too much, or not giving BK enough credit for preparing teams but I don't get that warm fuzzy feeling when I think about this game.

My sister is a freshman at Penn State and is now in the Blue Band, so I've got tickets for the PSU game. I really hope I can catch some of the game before it's over. It'll be the first season opener I've missed in a long time.

If this is what happens, I am going to be very unhappy. A) if our defense gives up 24 points and B) if we allow the score to be that close. No disrespect to USF, but I am not believing all the hype about them.

I am not saying you are wrong Blaise, but I am going to be pissed if that is what happens. It is important for this team to send a message right from the start.

What are you basing that on? If you break down the quality/ rankings/ returning starters for this game, USF is really being oversold.

i cant remember if i predicted already but whatever.

I think we assert our dominance as the game goes on, there will be no question who the better team is by the end of the 4th qtr. it will be one of those games where we just keep steadily separating from the opponent.

im going to say somewhere in the neighborhood of 38-13.

i agree. USF had a top 20 defense last year and their secondary looks like it could be a good one not to mention a fast and athletic front seven. untill ND proves to me they can move the ball consistantly against a defense like this i'll stick with this being a close game. a close game but in the end ND has more of an offense then USF does.

Plus their Oline lost 3 starters I believe. They are way overrated in my opinion. We need to roll in this game.
