241 rushing, 325 passing.....
I feel so much better this week. Before today, I would have bet cash we would have lost at least 1 of our 2 next games. Now I feel like we'll easily handle Stanford, and are better than 50/50 going to VT.

10 Different Receivers involved. Tight Ends getting the ball.. This is what we want to see. An offense that keeps the defense guessing because they don't know who is getting the ball. Only negatives, drops, and 2nd team defense in the 4th!

Not post game related but why do all the Vicis helmets look like yellow gold compared to all the rest. We have two different colored helmets. It looks like amateur hour.

Props to the whole team. Was impressed with Houston Griffith. Guy leading the nation in total yards and he couldn’t get separation off of Griffith for any big games. When he did catch the ball, Houston was there to clean up the play.

so much to be happy about...

my only gripes, and they are just small grips
-2 bad drops, but overall very happy with WR and TE. Still, Book 70+%
-RBs go down to easy
-Gave up too many medium/big runs, and weren't that good on 3rd and long
-3 stupid things killed our first 3 drives. Even with that, we set a road scoring record under BK (prev was 49pts).
-I'll happily take the young mistakes made on D while the starters got a rest.

Disagree. Armstrong and Jones are freight trains when they get to the second level.

not unlike the n.e. patriots....
the short to mid range passing game/completions by book/ receivers
set up the complementary running game today

book fits this style of offense well

Book looked good and comfortable... Could have taken off a couple of times with huge field ahead but chose not to
... Finally alize
Oline looked good especially with 2nd string ruhland in... Did well
Rb's looked explosive
Stupid drops
Austin will be looked at more... Where was boykin all game... Not 1 pass I remember his way
Gilman and okwara were huge once again

Could somebody compare Book to Rees please? Arm strength, running ability, football is, how heavily recruited?

I wondered about this too? And with the passes spread to so many different receivers, I think this is great. Stanford is not going to have the luxury of overly committing DB's to Boykin knowing the potential of other receivers. I may not have said that last week.

Great adjustments, performance and production by the lads today... all of them.

Cheers and Go Irish!!

My main thought:

Early starts kick ass!!! Look at us, now we can chill watch other games, enjoy our weekend and RELAX!! This is what having nice things is. You masochistic loons who want to sit around all Saturday wasting half your weekend in an anxiety driving stupor or mad.... #MakeNDFandomGreatAgain

Jones was not bad, Armstrong though IMO was not tough to bring down at all.

I think it was twice where the first defender ended up on his back after trying to tackle Jafar.

Oh well, it was a total ass whooping after the second drive. Cheers.

- WFU not very good
- 4-0 and getting better
- Looked and played like a top 10 team
- D had lots of plays for negative yardage
- dumb penalties at end of 1st half when we could have gotten off the field and maybe scored another time
- loved passing game
- Avery Davis is nice change of pace
- looking forward to Stanford

Shades of Marc Edwards... for those of us old enough to remember.

Cheers and Go Irish!!

1- It was hot, lots of people going out on stretchers.
2- How do you not sell out a 31,500 seat stadium?
3- Book looked comfortable the whole game Definitely in control after the first couple of series.
4- RB's looked good. Avery Davis was quick, aggressive. Looked like a RB.
5- The coaches had a great plan and were efficient to switch out defensive players. As soon as the whistle blew,
the different units were on and off the field.
6- Lots of younger guys got a lot of reps.
7- Lots of parents their with babies/toddlers. Brave
8- Our defensive backs are really good
9- This was a better Notre Dame team. IT was good to see.

Watched the first half and then my daughters birthday party.

The team looked so much quicker after each play to the line.

Young’s fumble was the one bad play. Even though I loved the call.

That punt return from Finke was amazing.

The D-line was blowing up the running backs and Quarterbacks all game long.

Armstrong had another good day.

Mack yes yes yes that’s what I thought we were getting. Blocked his ass off and had good catches.

Nice Book nice. Very impressed.

We needed a win like that. However, we will need to play better than we have played all year week. But time for a nap as this game was way to fucking early.

Nice balance.

Anyone else notice the ball jumped out of Phil’s hand like a rocket on his first pass?

Best headline I’ve read is “Notre Dame throws the Book at Wake Forest”.

I don’t watch other games but I have a love hate relationship with them. As I stated earlier too early so I’m tired as fuck now. However being able to relax in the afternoon is a good thing...way better than me drinking more to drown my sorrows.

Serious?

Rees was a noodle arm statue

Great win. Love we got a qb playing qb. Now find a way to get Wimbush the ball
