...and the new Civics are too big. They're bigger than the Accords of 10 years ago. My last one was a '99 Si that looked just like this. Bought it as a demo from one of my dealers and put 120k on it in 2 years. Added gas and Mobil 1 every 5k.
Ha, my current one is still rather small... at least for me. I do like them enough (all things considered) to keep getting one though. I'm not complaining.
And yeah, go big or go home... I could have fit other classic cars into my budget recently enough, even a 70 Chevelle at one point,... but figured I'd
a.) wait until all the loans were gone and each kid was old enough to not have day care costs
b.) wait for one of the cars that I love
c.) wait for one that isn't already owned by a good buddy (one of my best friends has a 70 chevelle ss)
"Ten years" from now every box on that list will have been checked or will be able to be checked... so that's the plan...
