Craig James is damn stupid.

At one point he said, somebody made a good job coming back to the ball...they were running a comeback route! Why is he still at ESPN while other more respectable people are gone or going?

They are leaving because he is still employed at ESPN. ESPN is becoming a joke.

RB, Marc Tyler: Dislocated Shoulder, sideline reporter confirmed.
WR, Marqise Lee: Appeared to be dislocated shoulder, left game before halftime and did not return.
CB, Anthony Brown: My guess is high ankle sprain. Had to be carted off field with air cast, and received xrays.

If anyone has updates please edit.

The stadium is LITERALLY on a fault. It cuts the stadium in two. Probably neede to spend a ton to protect the stadium. Look

Hopefully no one is near that sucker when it becomes a really cool scene in an apocalypse movie.

Losing their #1 RB and #2 WR is big. I know we joke about how deep they are at the skill positions, but those two guys have accounted for a ton of USC's production thus far.

Should Treggs and Thompson really be negatively affected by Cal's poor performance? Seems that Cal only sucked cause of Maynard, otherwise the team seemed decent enough. If I'm Treggs or Thompson, wouldn't it be reasonable for me to think that Cal is good and that it just happens to have an anomaly of a quarterback?

Cal does have the number 11 ranked QB according to scouts in Chris Kline coming in along with Treggs. So the future doesn't look bad. Although I wouldn't mind Treggs wearing Blue and Gold

For what it's worth, Kline is more highly ranked than Treggs by some.

For what it's worth, he wouldn't be the first 4 star QB to go to Cal in the past 4 years. They currently have a 2 star starting QB who they say they like because he can run the ball too, but they've done a poor job at implementing an read or option game to bring out those skills. Hell, the one time they scored was because they started doing some zone reads.

Anthony Brown broke his ankle and he's out for the year. Lee thinks he'll play this weekend. He actually hurt his shoulder on the first play of the game and then hurt it more on the TD. That would be a HUGE loss for them.

Losing Tyler isn't big IMO, b/c he's just not that big of a threat for ND. He got owned last year, and we've stopped much better RBs this year already. And for me, Moody came in their and looked WAY better anyway. But yeah I agree, like I said above, losing Lee would be big.

Lee was very impressive to me...which is what has me worried...we are going to be rolling a safety over to whatever side woods is on and thus leaving us very very vulnerable to getting beat deep w/ him...Wood in space is scary doing any bubble screens..motioning him etc...who would have thought farmer would have played...lmao....but he looked very fast

Cal's defense (the DL in particular) looked pretty bright. If they can get some things going on offense (like a better QB--as far as judgement goes) then they will be a decent team. I think if they retain Treggs and Kline they will have something to build on. Maybe they will even be able to break their 8-game losing streak to USC.

Cal was laying hits down on USC, that is for sure. Crushing those fools. Glad USC won though. See you saturday, suckers.

S.Cal Has To go Long Ball

S.Cal Has To go Long Ball

For S.Cal to win they have to gone long ball on go routes to receivers. They are not going to run on us so they will work the edges with balloon screens and halfback pitchouts running the edges. They will hope to sucker our secondary to play up close to hit us deep. Think they will use the same offense as against Cal yesterday. Not being able to run on us is a huge negative that forces them I suspect to run grab bag Hail Mary plays. Convinced their QB will roll out a lot and end up being much pressured into turnovers. Look for a Michigan State replay with their QB much pressured. But saying that they I am sure they are going to try going long with their passing game and that is the only way they win. Suggest Blanton think our best cover man cover the second receiver when they cover Woods double. S.Cal went to Lee when covered solo against Cal and they will again against Notre Dame too We got to slow down their attacks on the edges and pressure the Qb and then Rees does it for us..
