When Walter Rouse, Aeneas DiCosmo and Kyu Kelly are your 3 stars, you'll be ok. I really like their class. Them, Nebraska and Purdue have sneaky good classes.

True on those 3. And then add in some deer antler and boom.
I do agree they've got some under valued guys, but they also have quite a few reaches.
Bump those 3 guys to 4 stars, and they are still sitting behind ND :)

With men of integrity such as Haden/Swann they now pay their dues on playing it straight-wish the sec/Clemson would be put in the same situation!

A couple of observations

* This is USC’s worst ranked recruiting class in 19 cycles. That’s historically bad!
* Minnesota’s PJ Fleck is gonna get real tired of recruiting for the Gophers cause they are way down the list and it doesn’t look to be getting better anytime soon.
* Chip Kelly needs to add some recruiters to his staff. I know he hates recruiting and he’s a head coach who won’t recruit but there’s not a nicer combination of academics, campus, weather, city, and home football stadium to be in than UCLA and they are sucking at recruiting. He’d be fun to watch with decent players
* Texas & Texas A&M are gonna be tough to deal with sooner rather than later. They are reeling in talent, have the biggest budgets to work with, and are in one of the most talent-rich states in the country. Jimbo Fisher has a ridiculous recruiting staff put together in College Station.
* South Carolina put together a nice class in the 2019 cycle. Ryan Hilinski might be the best QB in the class when all is said and done and Joseph Anderson is a beast even though he didn’t come to ND.

Apparently there is a good chance that USC will lose four star receiver Puka Nacua. He didn't sign with USC in December, took OVs to Oregon and UW, and someone on the west coast thinks its a Oregon and UW battle. Per ISD.

In fact, Biggins flipped his CB from USC to UW yesterday. This will be awesome if USC loses both Nacua and McCoy.

As a public service reminder...

While I'm thrilled McCoy and Nacua wouldn't be on the field against ND in the future, it's not like they are depending on them to provide talent in the WR room.

ASB, Michael Pittman &Tyler Vaughns are up there with the best 1-2-3 punch's in the country. Velus Jones added a 30/300(?) guy at #4. Next man off the bench is 5* ATH Fr Devon Williams.

Then they add from this class:

5* Kyle Ford - My #1 from Day 1.
4* Drake London (who could end up playing only basketball, he's James Harden 2.0)
3* Munir McClain - Who's really a 4* on any other planet.

In the end, their room went from historic to just excellent.

I know they still have talented receivers but it is always funny to see other really talented guys abandon ship of your rival. Something is in the water at USC and things aren't looking great for them. Plus, I'm starting to think JT Daniels is overrated; they could have Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, and Jerry Rice as their receivers. It isn't going to matter.

Is Ford still expected to sign with USC? Had some hope he was UW bound.

I agree. I do take pleasure in anything that keeps SC down where ND is favored home or away but still would like them to be a 9-3 team for SOS purposes.

I assume he's still going to SC, at least that's what I could gather from the SoCal spots I keep up with online and Biggins is still SC. (There's actually not a CB thrown for anyone but SC - a few ?'s but not many.)

Jude Wolfe and Ethan Rae are far from big time, but whatever floats your boat. And after thinking about, I don't think USC ever utilizes their tight ends.

hard to throw to those 5 stars when the d-line is standing next to the qb after each snap.

Puka Nacua chose Washington. Very nice.

Now the Trojans WR room is only loaded instead of historic.

The good news, their class slipped to #20 on 247.

Two more USC players have submitted their names to the Transfer Portal - Velus Jones, Jr, WR and Greg Johnson, CB. Since August,
Johnson and Jones Jr. join Bru McCoy, Josh Imatorbhebhe, Trevon Sidney, Randal Grimes, Bubba Bolden, Oluwole Betiku, Je’Quari Godfrey and Ykili Ross as players to opt for a transfer. Two true sophomores will probably start at CB in the fall with their backups coming from the Class of '19.

McCoy was a member of the Class of '19 who decided to leave after signing his LOI soon after Kliff Klingsbury left USC. McCoy was a five star recruit and could have battled for immediate playing time, but chose to Fight On at Texas. Texas and McCoy have requested a waiver so he could play this year.

Johnson was one of just five returning cornerbacks on the roster. Jones Jr., with four other receivers departing the program, leaves USC with just five receivers on the roster going into Spring Camp, which starts Monday. Hunter Echols, LB, was reportedly entering the Portal, but the rumors of him taking a Trojan Walk have been denied.

With spring practice rosters coming out, Keyshawn “Pie” Young, WR is transferring from USC. Four other wide receiver transfers - Randal Grimes, Josh Imatorbhebhe and Trevon Sidney, Velus Jones Jr. - have left USC. Former grayshirt John Jackson III, WR has been added to the roster.

At CB, Olaijah Griffin, who played in eight games, will start at one spot and is their most experienced CB. At the other CB spot, RS Fr., Isaac Taylor-Stuart is the favorite.

USC Football is turning into an episode of Ballers.

Lynn Swann is going to have to bring in Spenser and Joe to sort things out.

Everyone get on Twitter ASAP. It's Dunk on USC day.

I assume you are referring to this:

College coaches, others indicted in admissions bribery case
By Associated Press | Mar 12, 2019 10:05 AM CDT

BOSTON (AP) — Federal authorities have charged college coaches and others in a sweeping admissions bribery case in federal court.

The racketeering conspiracy charges were unsealed Tuesday against the coaches at schools including Wake Forest University, Georgetown and the University of Southern California.

Authorities say the coaches accepted bribes in exchange for admitting students as athletes, regardless of their ability.

The details are comical.

Some really entertaining FBI investigations these days. Just too bad it doesn't impact USC or Stanford football.

Could allow them to fire their AD without penalty...

I don't get it. Is it really that difficult to get into USC that you had to drop 500k to have someone help you?
