There was an article about the visit on Rival's. Apparently Tony Marshall (Biggie's dad) sat and talked with Adoree for quite a while. Mostly talked about how college was since he got to SC an how he has adjusted so far an such. Still waiting to see what Ross and Thompson thoughts on the visit.

I'm hoping they bomb this year and have a repeat of the signing day collapse of 2012. Considering their paper thin depth it's very possible.

Good chance they play Stanford with both interior linemen being walk ons due to injury. I'll take Stanford for a thousand Alex.

Yeah, and their d-linemen will be ready for the first game, and their backups are scholarship players. Not sure where that info is coming from.

Is this right? When did he move from S to LB?

Kenny Bigelow is out for the year and they have another couple guys dinged up... They've been practicing with walk on D Linemen starting for a while or at least they had been. My point is I expect Stanford to run on them.

They've been beat-up at the LB spot and so they moved Su'a there, but it's more of a hybrid position, and he'll also play safety as well.

Claude Pelon has been playing for the starters and is basically a starter himself, and he is most definitely a scholarship player. Williams was out only as a precaution and has always been a go to start the first game. Woods was hurt but it was always known he would be out for 7-10 days and be back on time this past week. Simmons is on track to start.

Point is, they was never a "good chance that they would start walk-ons at both interior spots" vs. Stanford as you said. Their depth does suck though, so hopefully you will be right by the time they get to us!

I remember reading an SC board where they were freaking out about DL depth. Sorry if the info was inaccurate

I did read that they were going "limited contact" in practice to limit injuries. Lane Kiffin and Charlie Weis say hey.

@BruceFeldmanCFB: #USC lists 3 true freshmen starting on offense, including ex 3-star Ajene Harris at WR. OLs Toa Lobendahn & Damien Mama the other 2 TFs.

@BruceFeldmanCFB: The right side of the #USC O-line must be the biggest in the country: RT Zach Banner is 6-9, 350. RG Damien Mama is 6-5, 370.

My goodness that is a lot of meat on their line. We better be able to use some trickery or it might be tough sledding getting to their QB/RB

Wow, potentially losing its best D Lineman, Linebacker, and Corner. Sucks for the kid, no one should get injured especially while doing the right thing.
