Not sure how I feel about USC. While I love it when they lose, I always want them highly ranked when we play them.

I've never understood the mentally of rooting for opponents to lose ... wanting them to go 0-12. It belittles your own team beating a bunch of losers.

I want our opponents to lose 1 game a season (well, with the exception of Michigan, they can lose more).

True schadenfreude. "What a shame, you lost to us as time expired on that blocked field goal. You would have been undefeated and national champions. Instead we are."

Wouldn't mind seeing our opponents going 11-1.

I mostly agree. Sometimes I want to see Teams we compete with (recruiting) to lose key games. An opener (with a lot of kids visiting) is a good one to lose to a non P5 team. I'm torn.
