If Okie State won, there would have been a tie between them and Baylor. Okie State owned the tie-breaker and would have gone to the Fiesta Bowl.

They lost, Baylor won. Baylor wins the Big 12 outright.

They were just regularly scheduled games that happened to have an impact on who won the conference championship.

I have come to the conclusion I would rather not have and SEC team in the title game.

It was hard having to root for FSU and OSU but I had to choose the lesser of the two evils./
