I wonder if the staff will talk with Perryman while visiting Rabasa? I don't see a reason why we don't offer this kid. Also, Rabasa has connections with a few of the Miami commits. Should be an interesting visit.

Also, if Wayne Lyons doesn't land in Stanford, I owuld be very suprised. He has posted nothing but amazing things all over his facebook about his visit this weekend. He has photos with his family and C. Rice. Apparently, Stanford pulled out all the tricks and it worked. Good for Stanford and Harbaugh. I wonder if Lyons will remain interested when Harbaugh jumps ship for his dream job!

Grant has shown interest. Look at IrishSportsDaily. We just started showing interest again and he already plans to visit. He seems a lot more interested than Wayne Lyons who remains on the board. I thought thats what the HIGH-MED-LOW was for.

I agree that Ray Drew is a beast but it's not all about going after the elite talent. While elite talent is important, it's all for not if they are not interested in you as well. Ishaq may not be as physical as Ray Drew but he has serious interest in ND and is a perfect fit for our 3-4 OLB scheme. While Drew claims to be interested in ND, he has not followed through with setting up a visit so it's just been lip service at this point. As for Chickillo, he didnt even mention ND in his latest interview reported by ESPN. Im not saying not to recruit these guys but the interest has to go both ways.

Ray Drew was and is never gonna come to ND. Who told you he was. He listed us but his top 6 or 8 have been all south schools for a long time. Ishaq Williams looks raw with upside and would love to have him. Chickillo as a great back up is funny though. Have you watched tape of Chickillo? He is probably the best pass rusher in the country and would not play DE but OLB. He has a quick burst, great football IQ, strength, and gets to the quaterback. I'd love to have him.

Anyone know our chances at getting Jermauria Rasco? We offered him and he is being recruited by Tony Alford. I watched tape of this kid and he is only 220 and is a beast. Anyone know what is going on with him and what ND is doing to get him

Au contraire... Ray Drew has said numerous times we are in the mix for an official visit. He's going to take a couple outside of the south, likely to us or Michigan.

we need some more 4 5 stars.. the main thing is to get players that fit the kellys style, but we need some 4 or 5 stars bad... can't wait to see more kids signing up after our comeback.. i'm very impressed with what kelly has done this yr.. to me two bad calls no fg at the half of michigan,and the throw at tulsa... win the bowl and i'll forget tho.. go irish

Okay, I would love to have him. I read the same article on rivals to but he has been saying this since june. He said michigan, ucla, or notre dame as his fifth visit maybe. He is either going to auburn, florida or georgia. Jeoffrey Pagan just de-committed today so using the same logic we could get him.

kelly seems to still be going after the big fish french and williams as for the at-home visits dec. 1st. but i'm thinking chickillo will come over since miami fired there headcoach..... i believe he is going to visit this week.

Stars do matter, or teams classes would be filled with 2 star recruits.

They are just not the whole picture, they are a part of the equation

I meant that quality players are quality players and that it doesnt matter if Cam Mcdaniel is a 3 or 4 star he is still a stud player and that Everett Golson is only a 3 star but he is a perfect fit ... I mean getting a four or Five star player is awesome that doesnt necessarily translate...
look at Shaq Evans and Deion walker they havent done as well as Robby Toma It just depends on who works harder and fits thesystem
