Kelly now has about a month to do nothing but recruit and prep for a showcase in Florida. Things are trending towards a good cap to the year.

I would think the time lines for announcements of French and Golson within the next week would put them as likely candidates...would love to get this class up to 22/23 kids and around the top 10.

I think with everything around UNC we should be close to getting Golson. With UNc almost losing to Duke yesterday maybe that will help too.

The USC win was huge in recruiting. Not just for this year but for years to come.
I think this game will help with Troy Niklas because he has USC, Notre Dame, and Stanford as his top 3. Although USC is recruiting him for a different position, this should help us in that battle.
This game should also help us with Savon Huggins and Ishaq Williams. USC has tried to make a late push with both players.
With Miami firing R. Shannon, it's time to poach Miami's recruits hard if we weren't before. Anthony C. has already been looking around throughout the SEC and Albert Louis-Jean was interested in Notre Dame prior to his Miami commitment. Yesterday was a big day for us on and off the field.

Supposedly, but he's got a really tough decision to make, so I hope he takes his time and makes for certain the right choice for him and sticks with it.

Thing is, Iowa lost to a truly horrific Minnesota team yesterday, which has to help our chences. They have 5 losses...no way that team, the way they were stacked with returning players, should have lost 5 games. And ND won and we are trending up. That's all good news for ND. HOWEVER, the dark horse here is Oregon. And unlike Iowa...they are balling right now. Can't hate on any kid for wanting to play for the Ducks...sorry.

I think something special is happening at ND right now and I can only hope that some of these recruits who are currently on the fence can sense it. What Kelly has been able to do this year, specifically over the past few weeks is VERY encouraging and will only get better in time with more practices and his own guys in there. I sure hope this is something these kids consider when making their decisions.

French will announce Dec 7. The staff plans to visit him the week before.

Kelly and Alford stayed in CA to visit the Atkinson bros and will stay on the road all week recruiting
