The video includes the yearly Diamond Lake getaway. With the Miami case going on, I couldn't help but wonder who provides everything for this event? (The house, boats, jetskis, etc) Just curious how it works.


****I'll admit my OP wasn't very clear, which is why I followed up with another post saying that I was NOT suggesting that anything illegal was going on. I realize my mention of Miami may have made it seem that way, but I really wasn't making a comparison. I had no idea if the coaches, Jack Swarbrick, a team fundraiser, an alum, a player's parents, or anyone else provided this for these kids. I've only heard about the Diamond Lake event this year and last. I'm not that ignorant to believe that an event of this kind would be publicized on a yearly basis on the university's athletic website if it were not completely acceptable. I asked a question (perhaps it should've been worded better) and a simple, "The ND athletic dept holds this event every summer" answer would have been perfectly fine.*****

Ha. Let me clarify that I'm not suggesting any rules are being broken. I was just asking how it worked. Obviously there is a certain protocol for such events that allow programs to have some fun, enjoy time off, etc all while staying within guidelines. I'm simply asking what that protocol is.

Diamond Lake should be on the top of Kelly's list.

I don't know. I've watched the film on this guy, and while he has a lot of attributes that would fit nicely in Kelly's system, I think there are better options out there. IMO, Diamond Lake is a 3 star, across the board. I think Kelly needs to hold out for some of the 5 stars I know are interested. Did you read Tom Lemming's article about Diamond Lake?

^correction clash, Bob Diaco does not "wear" clothing. As i have stated before, in order to hide his true awesomness, Bob must APPEAR to wear mundane, even laughable clothing. Were a person to actually SEE Bob Diaco, his eyes would catch fire and he would melt ala Raiders Of the Lost Ark

I usually don't post, and just soak up others' knowledge on this site. But I have to say, I'm adopting Old Man Mike as my mentor in life (hope you don't mind, OMM).
