A lot of people in the middle who probably wouldn't have voted for Trump are now going to. They see this as an abuse of power and weaponizing the legal system to attempt to hamstring a political opponent, especially given how much they lied in the last election about Hunter's laptop and the selling of access & influence.

I would tend to agree with this. I hate Trump. But in a brief moment of weakness in the days after the trial, I almost convinced myself I would vote for him. This coming from a guy who has not voted for Trump in either of the two previous elections. I'm certain that this event will bring more people back into the fold and will certainly energize the Trump voters.

I have no handle on what true independents will do with this.
