So I guess when I say traditional I am just referencing the archaic and often Ill forgotten words of Jesus Christ is the Bible. To be fair I am not well-versed on the Mormons edition to the word of God and I have yet to read any biblical additions set forth by the Catholic Church or any other church.

So from a moral standpoint I do not support gay marriage. From a legal standpoint I do not see why the law has to follow the Bible and Christian values. The law is the law, and Christian values are Christian values, they are not one in the same.

I have plenty of gay friends. I have had plenty of gay coworkers. I have gay family. None of them have felt threatened by me or my Christian values. The beauty of personal relationships is that people understand the actual person rather than having to explain this behind a very non-personal user name on a message board.
