Trump Search Said to Be Part of Effort to Find Highly Classified Material (Published 2022)

The former president said he would not object to the Justice Department’s move to release the search warrant used to carry out the search of his Florida home.

"Former President Donald J. Trump received a subpoena this spring in search of documents that federal investigators believed he had failed to turn over earlier in the year, when he returned boxes of material he had improperly taken with him upon moving out of the White House".

"The subpoena suggests that the Justice Department tried methods short of a search warrant to account for the material before taking the politically explosive step of sending F.B.I. agents unannounced to Mar-a-Lago".

Huh...so if he just followed a lawful subpoena the raid wouldn't be necessary at all.

What scares me the most is that with all the things Trump did and has not been held accountable for was really a dry run for what’s coming next for the GOP all over the nation. They are already claiming foul on elections all over the country ( even their own primaries). They prodded the loop holes know where they failed and how they failed. They won’t make those mistakes again…

They know their agenda is extreme. They saw in Kansas that the abortion platform is a total no go if put to a public referendum so I think that will be the last red state to put it on a referendum which leaves them strictly legislating it against public will.

Our democracy is still under threat IMO

DeSantis has the Ivy League degrees and military service. He is not only smarter than people like Abbott and Noem, but he's more politically savvy too.

What he's doing to education alone down in Florida should scare the living shit out of people. The same people that flipped out about wearing masks are good with elected officials being suspended or removed for not doing his bidding and have no problem with books and words being banned in classrooms.

Buckle up.

But what this bill actually does is, it, in essence, regulates school lessons on gender identity and sexual orientation from kindergarten through third grade or in higher grades approximate if they are not age-appropriate, according to state standards that are going to be written and clarified by the Florida Department of Education by next June”

Also DeSantis has said he wants the bill to go all the way through higher grades. It’s a bigoted bill. Based on the above statement that bill will go further once it’s “clarified”. You can gaursunyee it once they spell out how it’s not age appropriate to talk about or have a gay relationship in middle school or high school. Or to be a fluid individual who isn’t harming anyone.

So now we have a Educstion department regulating a persons identity and ability to be their own person. I’d imagine anyone would experience irreparable harm not being able to be who they are. I’ve seen it first hand and I don’t wish that on anyone.

I’ll also restate they are making gay teachers take down any pictures of their spouses and any and all pride paraphanalia. That’s a pretty moderate stance smh. Disgusting. Imagine you not veiling able to display pictures at your place of work…. Anywhere…. Of your loved ones and children.

Fuck that…… It’s intent is to put the LGBTQs back in a closet. Full stop.

Over 9000 openings in FL right now in education and over half of those are for teachers. The fuck around phase has just started. Find out is going to be rough.

Merrick Garland said that the DOJ went about this quietly. Trump made it public. So the master of spectacles made another spectacle when the DOJ's intent was to not make it one.

I completely forget in the circus of it all that it was Trump who made the statement that broke the news in the first place.

This doesn't sound like the behavior of people trying to "score political points."

They also waited until he wasn’t at MAL to do the recovery. I mean you’d think from everything being said that Trump was there when it went down and he was being forcibly restrained from helping the FBI search for the documents he stole.

Merrick Garland rolled in a half hour late. Says "Yeah, I did this myself and you can see the warrant if you want." Walked out, took no questions.

Tuesday: "Unseal the warrant!"
Thursday: Ok
Also Thursday: "This isn't appropriate. Defund the FBI!"

Fuck around and find out.

Yep, I see a lot of "Ricky's" and " "Marjorie's" around the country and the common denominator is they have pro trump flags and bumper sticker flying proudly to this day 2 years after the previous election. And they still bring up Hilary's emails, and Hunter Biden laptop as a counter argument EVERY time trump has his skeletons revealed..
